Usually, the person or group putting on the program donate their services, not the vendors and infrastructure. We also solicited sponsors and product donations. If my organization was going to foot the bill for the facility and vendors, we would have just given the amount of $200,000. to the charity. My organization never could have afforded to pay that, but by putting on the program, we brought in enough to cover the expenses and give $200,000. to our charity.
