Bonjour Danh-A depuis la 🇨🇵 🙂 __ This portrait is very well done, subtle about light and shadows and also the hair. I want more and more to give a try to paint portraits with oil pastels. I have already few Sennelier and just ordered a little of Caran D'Ache. But some day I would like to buy Mungyo Gallery ; the inconvenience of them is that they come in set in France and I don't like that.

Appreciate the review of so many brands! I'm a little disappointed with neopastels. Maybe I prefer softer OP. Wish I could get my hands on Hwawon OP. They look good!

In fact, they are all very different. and it is desirable to have everything for various techniques. Personally, I don’t really use very soft ones. I prefer the hardness level of Van Gogh - Mungyo, sometimes I don’t want to smudge, but I want to paint. !☝️
