I think you explained it well. it was like I played raft and explained the whole story( with some memories about those bloody 400 years and sticks in the sharks :D the video was really funny. the dark part of the fun was (I like your sense of humor) from you to the group of people you are sure, were causing that decision). you save several days of my life. It could not be longer? :D From the men who believe and know his grandOnes were affected and the lifetime used for another purpose. even after that, you tried to save your audience some time from their life. Interesting game but really do not underestimate the time it will take to just learn the UI. Unless it has changed and there are good tutorials this game will be 2 hours in youtube 20 mins of play, 1 hour youtube, 30 mins of play. Campaign ruined go look at other tutorials on line and start again. It is painful. Unless you love strategy and simulation this game is not for you.

I’m going to try to get some other KZfaqrs to look over your content, it’s great, you need more exposure. What’s so crazy is finding a KZfaqr that does it right and does it well, but doesn’t have a huge audience. Very irritating. So many other content creators are so frggn annoying.

Every time someone does a youtube vid on Nightengale they show something they never mention. First person view. First person gives me motion sickness. I feel like we've been over this so many times yet devs keep forcing 1st person on so many of us. Those who can stand 1st person will be in the looter shooter games. It's important that if you have a fancy game not going the route of looter shooter you do 3d, 3rd person, open world. So does Nightengale force us to use 1st person?

Project Zomboid is hands down the best zombie survival game on the market. It has a pretty steep learning curve, but once you get passed that, nothing comes close. I would love having something similar for console but probably never will.

I like you. Good review. I think I will buy the game, it's on sale now. I like PZ but it was too hardcore for me too, I felt something was missing too. The graphics didn't work for me, always felt handicapped visually. This game seems to be very clear and good looking.

Came to comment after getting back into it - they really improved a lot again from a few months ago. Currently 20ish hours into my new Open World and just got the new stone base up and running and unlocked tier 3. The game is still a bit slower paced solo but the sense of progression and owning what you build up to is really satisfying and palpable. Still need to get into the arctic and desert areas soon too.

I need to find the time to play Sea of Thieves again I always wanted to be the reapers but I was a noob 😂

The fact that you don't lose 50 hours of playtime because you died once is already a win in my book, not everyone live with their parents or only play ONE game.

I couldn't get into Project Zomboid.. but Humanitz improves on so many lvls that Zomboid don't.. definitely a winner over Zomboid for me anyways..

I would have to disagree with just about everything you said. Game reviews should not rely mostly on if you like playing the game. That's not considered a fair judgment. There should be standard metrics that are used to judge a game compared to other games of the same genre and style. So let's take some other games and compare things like graphics. Optimization. Content. Mechanics. Immersion. You mention that the time table the game uses breaks Immersion. I have to disagree. It actually increases it. This system is far more immersed than other games where you build in real time and it take only the time of a couple clicks of your mouse. 3 to 4 swings of an axe and boom you have a tree cut down into usable pieces. That don't sound very real. And the animation in most other games is horrible at best where that same axe isn't even hitting the tree its supposed to be cutting down. And then in some reality defying means. Spontaneously breaks into smaller logs. All in the time it takes you to click the mouse button a few times. This is what you call more Immersion. I would rather imagine or let my common sense fill in the animation of chopping a tree down, then chopping that downed tree into logs and be shown that that it took 2 hours of my day to do this than see all that poor animation and do it in a matter of seconds. The graphic are really good in this game. Lighting is great. If you get caught without a torch. The dark areas in the game are real life dark. Physics are great in the game. Things have weight and roll or rag doll as expected on inclines. There is fall damage. Aspects of sickness aspects of injury do to low light. There are plenty of jump scare moments in the game. The game runs extremely well even on my mid tier system 60fps on highest settings 95 % of the time only dropping into the 50s from time to time. The water and underwater graphics are top notch. Boat physics are spot on. Now with all that said is the game perfect. No. Like you said more organic spawns would be much better. And there are thing like upgraded tools and weapons not seeming to be upgraded enough to be worth what it takes to make them. More crafting and building aspects would be a welcome. But for a more life like experience survival game this is top notch compared to others on the market

This game is EXTREMELY shallow. The time-skip harvesting/crafting menus are absolutely HORRIBLE for the game immersion. The wildlife is quite possibly the most annoying game-design ever created in a survival game. There are so many little cool things that make you feel good the first 2-3 days you play, but it quickly becomes apparent how thin this game is.

1.0 just dropped, they fixed a lot of the loop issues and actually put in a lot of quality of life updates. Think the long dark

Amazing video, i used to be in an alpha tribe but.... things happened between me and them and got kicked, made my own tribe and became big again. And then when wildcard said they were shuttinh down the official servers i quit the game. Gg, been a solid 5 years of gaming. One last thing, what is the music in the background? Ive tried looking for it i cant find it

I want this game to succeed. I usually love zombie survivor games such as this, Project Zomboid and State of Decay (2). However, one thing I am not a fan of in this game, in particular, is how you are stuck in place, when doing a melee attack. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind having disadvantages when moving while attacking (especially with ranged weapons). But being stuck, essentially, in an animation lock, in a zombie game where seconds can mean life or death, is basically a deal breaker for me. I hope this is something you can either change with a setting, or something they will allow with time. Apart from that, I hope that the customization of the servers will become at least somewhat near that of Project Zomboid. I love the fact that I can create a server in Project Zomboid and tailor-make it to my own head-canon. Project Zomboid has both width and depth. However the graphics is a big minus, in my opinion. Something Humanitz can make up for. I don't need Humanitz to become as wide and deep as an ocean (somewhat like Project Zomboid), but I will definately wait for it to become a pool, instead of a puddle. Cheers for a good video. :)
