I grew up when Brian was blazing his trail on the continent. He inspired me to take up cycling at age 14. I followed his exploits listening to French radio and via Courer - Sporting Cyclist and Cycling Magazine. There is, I believe, a book Brian Robinson - Gentleman Cyclist this interview shows he is that indeed. Chapeau Brian and thanks for all the thrills you gave us British cyclists back then.

We've been fed the story that British Cycling Performance Program is the be all and everything. These guys have proved that that is BS, all power to them, shows that the millions spent by BC is not being well spent. Clearly, BC need to start devolving their programme across the UK and not having it concentrated in Manchester.
