i love this! thanks for posting!! i journal and then draw/collage/stamp/mind map my thoughts/emotions out. i store the loose pages in a binder (or tablet for the mindmaps), but i love the idea of putting them in a book. this way i'll be able to look through the books and see where i was emotionally in a certain year or time of my life.

This is by far the BEST video I've watched on Art Journaling. Thank you so much for the information and the inspiration to start. Also I stopped the video part-way to purchase Dan Eldon's book "the journey is the destination". Thanks for the recommendation. I am so impressed with your work. New subscriber btw. 25:09 this is me. I want to make Art Journals that give people inspiration to create. It's a wonderful mindfulness experience and mental health tool. 🩷🩷

This is the first time I have found a video on finding your artistic style that works! I forget about books. I just started following Dina Wakley and you are right she has a unique way of teaching without making you feel like it has to look like her style. Thank you so much sharing your process. There is no art classes needed!. Just look around your house, collect things that are lying around like newspapers, magazines, food wrappings. Then grab your scissors, some paper and the pencils or pastells, glue, acrylics, watercolours etc. you will find - and start being creative! It is as simple as that just by playing like a child. I am sure, you are able to create something wonderful just by yourself. ❤

Totally new to your channel, saw it pop-up on the YT homepage, but I did hear your name go around in the Art journal community(so to say), so I thought to check it out. I love your work already. Can I ask, does it matter how to store paintpens? There are markers that need to be stored laying flat, others not necesaarily, but what about paintpens, upright, laying flat?
