Im curious, do you find the 4% to be very helpful? Ive tried promoting at 2%, 3%, and 7%. The ones that have "paid off" the best were promoted at 2%.😊
@Melodie_Richards10 күн бұрын
A decent portion of our sales are from promoted listings so I think it does help to some extent but to be honest I haven’t closely tracked the difference between our sales when we were promoting at 2% vs. 4%. Overall we’ve definitely made more at 4% promotion but that campaign has been running longer than our 2% was. I hope this helps, thank you for watching! ☺️

Hi! Thank you for watching! At the moment I’m not sharing my eBay store name, I’m just not comfortable mixing my business that I share with my husband with my personal hobby at the moment. But maybe sometime in the future I will! As far as thrifting we mainly get our items from goodwill in the northeast of the US ☺️

Where are you finding the keywords
@Melodie_RichardsАй бұрын
We find keywords to use doing comps in the eBay sold listings on similar items usually. We also like to try to keep an eye out in a general sense for what’s trending online and in stores.
@user-ye8lj4cb8cАй бұрын
Please share how many listings (items) you have in inventory and also any storage and organizing methods you have tried, discarded and chosen. I have just started this year and I experience quite a bit of overwhelm with all of the items in my living space, trying to process them, etc. I mainly sell clothes but am open to other categories as I come across those items. Frankly, I think other categories can bring in quite a bit more $ per sale, which is nice. But I do enjoy the clothes quite a bit, personally as well. Especially when I run across vintage or unique items. That is fun. It's interesting you have been in it quite a while now and have seen costs go up but you stayed. It's quite a bit of work but also can be exciting. Looking forward to more of your content. You are obviously a hard worker.
@Melodie_RichardsАй бұрын
At the moment we have about 1,500 items listed, we don’t store many items for a backlog.. maybe about 100 items waiting to be processed. As far as an inventory system goes, we do an ordered sku and date method and consolidate the gaps when needed (similar to Tech n Sports way). I am hoping to do a video on our inventory down the road! ☺️

Thanks for sharing your sales and the info. But PLEASE, stop saying TalBOTS. It's not robots! The accent is on the first syllable, TALbots, more like "TALbits." Try that and I think it will be closer. 🙂

Can you do a video of how to tell a sell-thru rate of a brand or item? Also, I bet the people that you sold at a reasonable price were happy. There is a market out there for customers that don't want to buy an expensive item.
@relatablebrandenАй бұрын
divide the amount of that item listed by the amount sold in the last 90 days.
@Melodie_RichardsАй бұрын
Yes there’s definitely a market for lower priced items, you just have to make sure it fits in your business model. Maybe I can do a video on sell through rates and doing comps at some point! Until then, you can find a sell through rate by searching something specific and diving the sold number by the listed number and turn that decimal into a percentage. For example: 400 sold, 500 listed 400/500=0.8 which is 80% ☺️
@user-ye8lj4cb8cАй бұрын
It really would be more informative if you simply showed screenshots of your sold listings while you discussed them. The main photo is fine and that would also give us the title you used. We don't need to see measurement photos haha and unfortunately you didn't always name the brand in these solds. :-( but I appreciate the info. Do some more!
@Melodie_RichardsАй бұрын
Hi, thank you for watching and for the feedback ☺️ I am always looking to improve! I was trying to show the brand label but there’s so many measurement photos to scroll past lol

Hi Debbie, thank you for watching! As far as ebay goes, I’m not sure how popular liking items is however, I would suggest making sure you’re picking up items with a high sell through rate and using popular keywords in your titles to attract more activity. I hope this helps! ☺️
