The TS12 and T7 are my favorites currently. 700 on the TS12 with only one fte only a few hundred through the T7. I like its recoil impulse more than x95 i think its the short stroke i like more.

BLK LBL makes a bipod handguard for the Tavor 7. I have both the bipod and ALX for my MDRX. If I get the Tavor 7, I will be getting a BLK LBL Bipod handguard.

I am not worried about the mag spring. That would be a rare issue that is easily fixed. I am more concerned that they can’t get better accuracy from it.

Maybe we should not choice a rifle for how it looks but this rifle is lovely.

😮3000 dollars there shouldn't be a dam thing wrong in my opion.. you can get a tavor for 2000 and will run fine and this is the 3rd generation with problems. Good luck with fixing the problems

Not sold on the Carmel. I love my Tavor 7 and my Gen 1 Galil Ace. But the Carmel sold in the US is way different and I'm not sure it even has an Isreali made barrel. Honestly those barrels are magic. Both my Tavor 7 and Galil Ace have had a lot of rounds through them and they look new through a bore cam. Unlike my DD or BCM CHF barrels that have equivalent round counts. It's definitely a vibe but I'd go for a Sig or CZ over it for that vibe. An thats from an IWI fan. Personally I'd like to find a gen 1 Ace rifle in 5.56. Love my sort barreled 7.62-39 but 5.56 is much more convenient now or days.

Great stuff. Had mine since late 2017 (if memory services), basically the first production run in the US. Mostly use M80 ball from Federal, Magtech, PMC, and some IWI razer core. The Razor Core does extremely well and is what I have it sighted in for. It does just over 1MOA five shot groups. But other than that accuracy is as you described. Betwr than a normal X95 and more than enough for me. It's not as accurate as bench accurate as my old DD AR10. However, I shoot it more accurately on the move or in dynamic positions. Great for heavy metal three gun. Not sure how you can run it with the flat butpad. The Manticore is much more stable. The flat plastic plate is way too slick for me. I end up popping myself in the chin when mounting it if I use it. Also I run the longer BCM vertical angled grip as a hand stop with a Magpul railcover in front for comfort. The short one is ok but I tend to pick it up using the vertical grip when it's in my safe. So longer is better there. Before I had that grip I would grab it by the barrel when picking it up because the forend was so slick. Which is a habit I didn't like. Also running a Leupold vx6 hd 2-12, offset irons, and also the newer 50,000 candelabra Streamlight Protac. I may try a 3 Panther Products cutlas so there's a guard between your fingers. But other than that I'm happy with it. For me bullpups make way more since in 308. An the Tavor 7 is the ultimate in my opinion.

Главное, что он закрыл шторку на АР-15, а на АК нету шторки, а когда открыл шторку, АРка тоже со 2го выстрела клинанула. И что вообще за гении по колхозным тестам определять надёжность оружия. В боевых условиях карабин не будет так загажен.

How well does your Desert Eagle work, though? On a rare day, I want one. Then i read owners experiences and change my mind. I've only handled one, never fired one.

M80 type 7.62x51 is just machine gun fodder. Not concerned with it. I wanted reliability and reasonable precision with quality ammo. That's what I get with mine! It's an X95 Gen 2 in .308. Like you, I'd buy an X95 if it had the upgrades the T7 has.

You mention a mod for the gas system? Was it just running the gas system in regular mode?

Have you had any issues with 25rd lancer mags? What about the D50 drum? Looks like you're using the 25rd pmags.

I really want these rifles to be good, and I want one, but it needs to match the reliability of my other rifles that unfortunately suffered a boating accident.

Seems like Classic Firearms also had an issue with a SR25 PMAG dropping out of .308 rifle with one of their mags. I wonder if those mags are more prone to issues with the catch. I remember Karl from InRange also had issues with 25rd mags with the MDR/MDRX. Wonder if Magpul put out some bad batches at some point.

Had a tavor 7 for over a year. About 2.5 to 3 moa with a non magnified red dot. No reliability issues as yet. But I haven’t fired steel case from it. And won’t if I can avoid it.

Imagine how awesome of a company desert tech would be if they ever figured out how to make a gun that works the first time.

What gas setting are you running with your huxwrx can? I have a similar setup with my wlvrn and I need to run it on S(second lowest) with the huxwrx or it will have FTE. I get it I go higher on my gas settings it will get some weird fte where the casing will spin 180 degrees. This was confirmed with shooting 1 round and it locking back on the empty mag and seeing the casing facing backwards.
