Megabyte and megabit are NOT the same! Megabit is 8 times smaller. 8 bits = 1 byte

Guess what else Americans get???? If an American works overseas and spends less than 30 days per year in the US, they don't pay US federal tax on the first US$126,000 of income.

I have a question about people visiting you. Do they purchase the cruise passage just like any other person would purchase a cruise vacation? Do you get friends and family perks like airline employees who can get free tickets for their family and friends? Considering your friends would stay in your cabin and not take up another cabin, how does that work? As a travel professional, I'm just curious.

So it's like being in prison, only you don't get escorted to the mess hall.

that internet markup is crazy/ he could buy his own starlink terminal, put it on some outcrop somewhere no one would look during passage (or share with the employee whose area its in) and it would cost him half as much to have unlimited high speed internet per month, and the savings would pay for the terminal itself in 5 months.

Never been on a cruise! Quick question: so, if you board one, do you have to pay for food in places like IZUMI IN THE PARK or GIOVANNI, or is it included in the cruise price? Thank you!

Laughed at people in the utopia hot tub docked in Nassau from the Wish next door this weekend because I thought of this video. It’s so true, even from two cruise ships away I could see the magnified people haha

Working on a cruise ship : dirty long hours no overtime bad food rude aggressive passengers overbearing bosses. Bad weather boredom on days off. And it’s not that well paid

The two options is bs. Lots of mining history in Juneau, good restaurants and cafes, galleries, Alaska native arts and culture, and tons of hikes - 200 miles of trails in Juneau. The cruise ship industry wants you to think there are only two options because those are the main two activities they sell as packed tours from onboard.

I’m not a lifeguard but it’s only a jersey thing and During lightning storms, we pull everyone out of the ocean and anyone that wants to stay in we say swim at your own risk now for them a cruise would most likely get struck by lightening a lot more since it’s the only thing for miles in the ocean, but they’re gonna have lightning masts and personally no hate to pool lifeguards as your still trained but I would rather my beach town lifeguards then any pool lifeguard
