Transmitters (Swift) + drysuit heating (Santi) don't works together well. Heating is jamming transmission and you are loosing signal from both sides the moment you turn on the heating.

Thank you for all the information. It's really so nice to learn from you what my PADI open and advance did not teach me. I find it so horrible that the instructors did not teach us anything about weights and buoancy during any of the courses and the dives, they just gives the weights approximative and the we struggle during every freaking dive on our own , either we are too positive or too negative , now that I understand the principle and the importance of the weight check , i will insist before every dive to check my weights every time. I freaking go on trips and pay too much to those people and they don't even bother checking any of that. Once I was diving with 7kgs , another time with 5 kgs, another time 6.2 kgs. My last 10 dives were at 6.2kgs with a jacket style BCD (cressi travellight) 1mm rashguard , I'm 6' weigh 200 lbs . Thanks again , I love your informative rich videos. Regards. Mike.

Hi have you ever seen somebody dives with carbon fiber aluminum cilinders? I received a buoyancy table from carbondive, Austria and I'm thinking about to dive with this tuxing 6.8L China cilinder. We dive maximum 15 m. Normally 5 to 10

I am using a sidemount SCR. If I follow this process and just add the weight (measured in the water) of my SCR configuration (with backplate and harness plus accessories) in the equation, I guess it should work? However, I doubt I would ever be at 50 bars in both Nitrox tanks at the end of a dive.

Showa 727 are also great and available in a size which you can use with the Santi heated undergloves. The only thing: they are just a little to thin to fit waterproof on the rings, so just double the part which is being locked by the O-ring and your fine.

I love my new Razor ❤ What I changed afger so.e dives, is the webbing, its to stiff and hurts imo. I changed it into halcyon webbing. I also changed the new buckle system bc I kept struggeling to let it slide proper with my hands.

I’ve been considering switching to fixed d-rings in the shoulders to make clipping more consistent. I haven’t tried the sliding d-rings yet. It seemed like it would be more to fiddle with with, but I do find myself between a cheap 3mil in the Caribbean and a drysuit other times.

I came in feeling confident with my setup but leaving questioning everything I've learnt, including my fat arse bent d-ring 🥲

Remember the first time with my XDeep with Vas, I got back home with a bag full of d-rings, clips and other stuff we either removed or replaced for better options. Still love the modifications we have done, also the ones the second time over for the butt d-ring on xdeep.

Hello from Seattle in the Pacific North West. Recently we have has some colder water temps especially in our lakes. Not as cold as other places but my references is diving in waters between 37 - 44 F (2.78 - 6.67 C). I am not interested in active heating at this time. So I literally just picked up the new to market (released November 2023) Fourth Element HALO A°R gloves, yes on the bulky side. From Grainger our US industrial supply supplier I found only one pair of exterior gloves that fit and they are size 3XL (My new Halo goes are Large). Unfortunately the chemical gloves I found are cotton lined and even after purchasing a Santi SmartGlove kit I am not at all impressed with how easy the glove slips off the ring with the cotton lining. They are also very thick and rigid no bueno for dexterity. I would prefer to do the pull over method as I have shown in my video here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/arJ5m6mcq52aZYk.html however I just got the Santi SmartGloves ring system so that is sill an option. I am open to any tips if any one has sourced a good fitting all rubber chemical glove in 3XL size. Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter

The mask ripping off almost seems like a hazing ritual the way it’s presented here.

I think a lot of the readability, even with a ton of info on the screen, comes down to correct grouping. You can use the Mini displays on the Perdix and Petrel to show non-essential information, and keep the vital info as large values. The top row isn't configurable (though you can force NDL to be displayed on the top right): * Depth - Time - Surface/NDL/Deco/Safety The bottom row you can choose between 4 permanent displays: * Mode - O2/HE - NDL - TTS * Compass * T1/2/3/4 - GTR - SAC * Tissues That leaves the center row that you can fully configure. The center is always a large value, and the sides you can configure as Minis. I personally keep the ppO₂ in the center, which is an important value to keep track of, and it also serves as an MOD. I would suggest displaying related information per Mini. Don't put random data in there because that can make it hard to understand. There are different TTS values that you can group together: TTS, @+5, Δ+5, GTR, RTR. All in minutes. There are different depth values you can group together: MOD, Ceiling, MaxDepth, AvgDepth. All in feet or meters. There are different tissue loading values you can group together: GF99, SurfGF, CNS. All in percentages. Other values can clutter your display when grouped together in Minis, like: * Ascent rate (ft/min or m/min) * Density (g/l) * Gradient Factors (Lo/Hi) * Compass heading (°) * ppO₂ (fraction) * Clock (hh:mm) * Timer (mm:ss) * Temperature (°F or °C) * SAC (psi/min or bar/min) * Tank pressure (psi or bar) I would recommend keeping these in a large format if you're using them, or keep them in the NDL mini so they're out of the way. The way I've set mine up is: Depth - Time - Surface/NDL/Deco/Safety [GF99/SfGF/CNS] - ppO₂ - [TTS/Δ+5//RTR] T1 - [GTR/SAC] - T2
