I’m honestly glad to hear someone else mention how much of a jerk the Lock is. Like…I’m fine with being the villain, but make it feel like that. I thought maybe my character would learn something about getting his ass kicked, hitting rock bottom, then working his way back up to the top and being signed to WWE again. But no. He threatens to injure Shawn Michaels again and clearly still has a massive ego. Honestly Shawn was perfectly justified in all the crap he did during that storyline. I also hated how short the whole “bringing back a dead faction” part was. I spent so long making an Evolution titantron for my character only for it to be over in like an hour. And we definitely should’ve unlocked the Evolution theme and titantrons for that.

It’s kind of funny how everyone talks about how bad 2k17’s MyCareer was, bc I loved it back then. At that point getting new video games was kind of a rarity for me (was like 13/14 at the time) so when I got one, I played the heck out of it. I hadn’t gotten a WWE game in a few years, so my brother and I played the HECK out of 2k17. I loved being able to become a Paul Heyman guy, even if it led to absolutely nothing. I did really love 2k23’s Lock Introduction, just a shame we couldn’t get the titantron and entrance motions unlocked afterwards. Trying to recreate it in the create-a-video was a massive pain.

And some of the persona cards they DO release they make it DAMN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to get!😳🤬

every persona card should be earned in a towers mode and in packs if you dont want to grind. The way it is now is silly. The live events would work if the card need is available on the market but they never are or are well overpriced

My favorite My Rise is still 2K22, I came from a MMA background. I loved it.

I also think the size of your player matters. If he's not heavyweight or superheavy weight you're going to suffer to lift him or close the casket.

It might be different with other people, but I barely created or downloaded any block CAWs, so I'm not too surprise about it. As for promos, I did like them being in universe mode, but a lot of times, they were repetitive & they hardly had any promo options & they were limited to either solo promo or 1 vs 1 promos.

I must be in the minority because I really enjoyed the 2K Originals in 2K20. It made me forget how busted that game was and I could just get lost in the insane fever dream stories. I wouldn't mind something like that making a comeback.

What's so special about these? The Becky Lynch one is just the '19 version with different attire that you can set as alternate anyway. I'd play MyFaction to unlock them but whats the point? Am i missing something?

Personally I think they need to scrap all this card game rubbish and give universe mode some love. Get it back to where it was (promos included). That and more backstage areas again, I actually miss the 19 and before locker rooms.

One of the Universe features I miss the absolute most was draft matches. I loved watching superstars from every show appear on each other's shows for matches, never knowing what show was gonna lose a superstar and who it would be.
