I know it hasn't been that many years since the show ended, but hearing the sound effect of the text appearing on screen with the Roci decelerating in the background made my heart swell with nostalgia.

How funny... Without having read the book for one to know it's a masterpiece. I guess it has to do with who is the writer. She speaks, one listen and grows to be a better person. She's so admirable.

I always knew about Kate Mulgrew but came to the I love Kate Mulgrew train really late, lol. I literally started to watch Orange Is The New Black in July of 2023, and when I finished the show I have been going down the rabbit hole of Kate Mulgrew and that's how I found out about her writing Born With Teeth and How to Forget A Daughter's Memoir. I got the audio book for both books and they were so good, I listen to both books in about 3 days and that's because I had to sleep, lol. This woman can tell a story like no other, I would drop everything to listen to her read or talk. Both books did something to me and I truly cannot explain, to hear her tell her story and do it so beautifully was amazing. I lost both my parents, about a year apart and it was hard on us, to this day I don't think us kids are the same without our mom and dad. I started to revisit her earlier work and OMG this woman was good at 19/20 better than some people I see acting for years. Adore her so much and most of all I adore her work, and yes I am now watching Voyager. I hope to meet her someday, I never really want to meet anyone famous, until her.

I love the ship! - was a bit tough to tell it wasn't the Titan-A at first glance. I'd love to see a shot that put more focus on that cool underside and get a few angles that maybe the enterprise doesn't sell as well. Great stuff tho!

I hate the Duderstadt class. The proportions are all wrong. They should have used the Intrepid class for the Intrepid instead, finally show NCC-74600.

@@still_guns I’d have a real hard time buying that the Intrepid class was any significant threat to the 30 year newer Neo-Constitution class, it’d be like sending an Oberth class to arrest the crew of the Excelsior.

I was originally thinking that the shake of the Enterprise looked a little small, until I remembered how big the Enterprise is. That jolt would've knocked a good chunk of the crew over.

This is marvelous! The visuals are truly stellar and indistinguishable from the show. My only question is what font did you use for the text, and how did you get each letter to fade in individually?

Thank you, it is a bit rough around the edges but was only a test render of sorts. I will try and remember to open up the project tonight and recall how I went about the text and what font it is :)

@@OrdinaryLatvian I just have, after an hour of searching through old files. The font is called 'Protomolecule' and the text effect is a default text animation pre-set called 'Random 2' in Filmora 9 video software.

Looks like YT compression broke the flame other than that I don't know what could be better maybe some color correction, looks like ripped from show. How did you made light? There is a lot of nice shadow areas.

Hello, the flame needs to be further developed, I just couldn't wait to render it off at the time. I hope to revisit soon and do a better quality version. Area lights for the lighting.

@@Baz_R To be honest if I recall correctly most or at least some of engine thrust was done more simple with just lights so not sure if it's worth to make it hard and heavy way. Good luck.

This is the perfect visual of the plasma torpedo. It sticks to a ships and burns through. Like a future molotov cocktail or incendiary round.

Wow, that is fantastic! The models are gorgeous. I love the plasma torp effect as it beats on the Enterprise’s hull. Reminds me of the plasma weapon effect in TMP. Great work!
