Hello, I went through multiple videos and reviews of the game and one thing that struck me was that the player has limited abilities to control your units once they are engage into fight. If I understood, the only option is to retreat, player cannot order to disengage and focus on other enemy unit. Is such mechanism still in place? are you plan to keep it or think to adjust it to match more flexable unit control approach? thanks in advance! The game looks amazing but this mechanism stops me to buy it

This game failed at launch, unfortuantly, BUT it's not completly hopeless, there could make a comeback with the game. It didn't live up to expectations players had of it beeing similar to DoW / CoH series. 1 thing that buggs me is how units are LOCKED in melee, It'd been better with some SLOW effect they get or such, so hard to just move past a screen, but not completly locked up besides full retreat, OR give melee units an ability to retreat 20 meters back quickly for a action currency, without completly retreat all the way back home always. Another is tuning DOWN the Rock, Paper, Scissors effect, it's almost too much, units are either SUPER tanky, or die like flies, and especially with how devestating some abilities were/are, doing 70% health damage to an enemy unit, so if they'r already engaged and lost some health, boom wiped instant, and you can't even just move them to the side to avoid it either, since once again, LOCKED in melee, so you have to retreat. But retreat itself is also bad, in CoH & DoW series, units gets Damage resistence when they flee, in RoR, it feels like they take MORE damage, so lets say you'r in a fight, a unit of yours is locked in melee, soon you'll have to get them out, but only way is full retreat, and retreat will make them run a wierd path you don't like directly into enemy units, just no way around it and they'll like die on the way back, it's feel bad. Atleast give retreating units like 50-60% damage reduction or avoidance like DoW/CoH. Some further tweaking of other game mechanics too & Faction expansions! 4 Factions feels rather few for a game like Age of sigmar, Age of sigmar also have LESS CORE type of factions then 40k too, in 40k, you have Space marines, Eldar, Orks, Chaos, and maybe Nids. Those feel like the CORE factions, there are tons of more factions but.. game still feels decent with those 5. in AoS, Stormcast might fill 1 of those slots, but less then space marines do in 40k, and after them you have SO many factions that all feel just as Iconic as the next, so seeing just 4 factions does indeed feel barebone, and also we got 2 factions that deffinetly Don't feel like CORE factions, Kruelboys & Tzeentch, they feel more Niche overall. They'd done better with using Ironjawz & Slaves to Darkness perhaps. Factions I'd really like to see if they expand upon it and make it a good game deserving a comeback: Soulblight Gravelords. (They are fairly uniqe but also draws in attention from generic players NOT used to Age of sigmar, & Vampire counts in Total war warhammer 1-3 it's one of the more popular factions too. Skaven! so uniqe and so iconic, while also showing up in a lot of other warhammer games, Total war, Vermintide and so on. Slaves to darkness or Maggotkin (Something less flimsy and turquois / pink), will attract more types of players even though Tzeench is cool too. Ogor Mawtribes, Would have liked Ironjawz & Gloomspite gitz, but Kruelboys already feel like an inbetween of those, so thus Ogor mawtribes is more uniqe compared to current faction. Then for Order, Cities of Sigmar feel like a given, but otherwise Sylvaneth would be real interesting to see represented in game, Idoneth could be cool too, but hard how to represent them in game with their water/Tide mechanics visually.

This is the problem with Warhammer, it has so many factions that releasing a game without X amount means you're not gonna sell well. And due to industry practices gamers are gonna wait until they see their favourite factions. Keeping the lights on until you have those factions becomes impossible. And if their factions are never released and the game dies, the gamer is happy to walk away feeling as thou they dodge a bullet.

Faction dlc, more game mode and campaign, a bit of gameplay rework is required.

Please give us more factions so this total war style this game will do so well we need more people and more ways to draw people in seraphon against khorne osriachs against lumineth pleaseeee

Уберите систему мечников вступил в бой и не мошешь отойти добавти игре мобильности и точки влияния как у кох 2 и кох 3 . Сделайте так что можно играть от обороны и от наступления кто как а тут надо двигаться и что бы юниты пехоттные в радиусе атаковали в врага то .

The heroes are cool but people aren’t rly gonna be willing to spend money on just heroes. It’s basically single unit DLC which just isn’t something people will buy unless it’s like 2 dollars for each hero. Rn both of these are 5 dollars, adding up to 10$ total, easiest to compare to is is total war warhammer series which for most its life span was giving out two entirely new factions with quite a few new units as well as completely new campaign mechanics to go with it for the same price as these two characters together. Just not gonna appeal to most people

This is a great start for things to come in the near future for this game. I do hope we see new factions like the Dwarves, Elves, Ogres, other demons, and etc.

4 more fractions would make this game elite
