This wasn't any true representation of a drag race between these cars...im a Pontiac guy & brought my son home from the hospital as a newborn in a 68 firebird...A properly tuned Z-28 would've given that 400 a closer race...

Hi, I’m interested in doing the same thing to my C 43 coupe. Does the parking sensors work and are they accurate?

Great footage, I always felt that the Hemi, and 440s, etc., are as sexy as the car bodies themselves. Original Roadrunner is one of my favs.

My philosophy on engine break-in as told to me by my engine builder in 1971 was to drive it like I intend to drive it every day. That meant a hundred miles an hour, powershifts everywhere. I've been doing that ever since. Never had a problem with an engine. Drive it like you stole it. Make sure there are no helicopters in the area.

I saw that you have hatch area panel. Mine is missing/long gone. Could you please do a video about that? I'm sure many others must be missing this piece too.

Good to meet/see you this past Saturday on Torch/torch River. (Pontoon behind you). We come up once or twice a year from Columbus Ohio. Your vids helped me get the family hyped for our trips. Keep it up and enjoy the rest of summer.

I don't understand why you don't fab a console to make room for some of the electronics you want to install. Everything you add to the doors makes them exponentially heavier on the hinges. Swapping out hinges is not a fun job. You're doing a great job videoing what you're doing. Another thing you seem to have missed was that the driver's door-mounted speaker would always be in the way as you enter the car. Your foot would hit no matter how careful you are. Then it would fill with dirt. If you keep the car long enough to have problems with your feet, knees or hips, you will regret the obstructions you've put in your way. I'm restoring a 77 Hornet AMX right now. I was hoping your video would show the architecture at the A pillar under the front fender. Apparently there's a sealed box construction that traps water, dirt and tree droppings. Eventually, the seam running across the top of the firewall rusts, and then leaks into the cabin. The water drains inside the car rotting out the floor over time as well as messing with the electronics behind the dash. While the car is apart, (probably not since I'm a year late) it's a good idea to make an access panel so that area can be kept clean. That's something that should have been done at the factory that was not. Apparently, Mustangs suffer the same fate. My Hornet doesn't have a console either, so I'm going to make one.

I didn’t add anything to the doors, lol. I mounted the speakers are in the factory location, these are just slightly larger. My factory door panels were brown died black and looked rough, which is why I went with the custom design; trying something different, but can always reverse back to original if I don’t like these. The car has a factory center console, I added a GPS head unit to the factory dash, and full Kicker stereo system on display in the hatch. This car sits inside year-round, I can’t imagine a scenario where that would be a worry for me, haha.

Why have all you KZfaqs shown this POS corvette Every one I watch I see this thing. It’s ugly and nobody wants to see it especially corvette people. Show cars worth looking at. Rat rods are cool but not that thing and it does no justice to the other 10K cars that were there. To each his own but why it’s in every KZfaqr video is just stupid.
