To be fair to From Software, if they wanted to make a lore accurate change to the base game post DLC, the ENTIRE Haligtree area would need to be changed, and there wouldn't even be a reason to find Malenia here in the first place. When Miquella broke his rune, his charm fell off, so everyone who was previously charmed no longer was (until he return to Radahn/Mogh's body and charms them again). So everyone in the Haligtree would be fighting each other, and Malenia would probably just f-off to the Erdtree, and that can break the entire game. Not saying it couldn't be done, but From is really good at setting their limits and not over-stretching. So lore-wise this just means that the DLC is canonically set after all of these fights.

Guys, in the wiki it's written wrong, if you're using a Hefty Fire Pot it will NOT work, the wiki says Hefty Fire Pot, you NEED a Hefty FURNACE Pot !! I did this mistake and i was wondering why it's not working. Make sure it's a Hefty FURNACE pot! :D

I been trying for ages to get that exclamation mark notification from Shinsaku with no luck. I've given him so many gifts it ain't funny. Currently I have about 5-6 NPCs with exclamation marks waiting to be veil vowed but every time they're just dropping gold rarity accessories without any of the new sets I really want. I been save scumming them for the longest while with no joy. Luck makes no difference. I had Fortune Favourite = 200 Luck + other items with 150+ Luck when going for them. Makes no difference so I just keep on the gear now that suits me for battle. I just about gave up on them because of the low Masterwork drop rate and waste of time. That "Thugs: Honnoji" Ally mission strategy looks good but look at how long it took you to get that Masterwork Jade Die accessory. And it doesn't even have one of the new sets...Prodigious Dragon or Ferocious Tiger.

If they did, where is the difficulty option scrubs have requested so much? They don't care if all 2 million players beat the game, they dont even care if they cant get past Margit, or ever even see Malenia. Fromsoft games have a design philosophy very similar to retro games from back in the day, its practically focused all around the challenge and fun of the single player, and i'd say consistency to the lore of the game. But they don't even care if you get the story or understand the lore either. I disagree with what you said about people needing to watch videos to understand the story. Even the people making the videos do not totally understand the full story, and this is a confirmed intention of Miyazaki. There is just enough in game to get the gist of what you are doing, who some of the people you are fighting even are, and what your goal as the player is. But I certainly agree the PVP is not enjoyable, I dont play PvP much, I did recently to do Varre's questline, and like, its annoying chasing some guy down in the open world who probably has like 2 buddies who are going to jump me. I was thinking tho on the topic of other gametypes, why not like a lord defense game? Pretty much theres 2 sides, and where they have to fight is a legacy dungeon like Storm Veil Castle, or Leyndell (dungeons with lots of side routes and stuff, and not like a primary pathway), and the goal is to get through the area and kill the boss at the end with your group. But, theres another smaller team, working with the PVE enemies and the lord of the area. I think that'd be dope
