CapCut for PC is a fantastic tool for video editing. One feature I find incredibly useful is the multi-track timeline. It allows me to layer videos, audio, and effects seamlessly. This function makes my editing process much more efficient and creative. Highly recommend trying it out!

There were a brief moment in time where NDI in OBS didn’t desync video from audio but have gave up keeping it synced for more than hour. Worked great in vmix. The buffer setting in the bridge helped on our transatlantic bridge but it was hard to keep stable. Never had problem with Skype and ndi at that distance but missy the coolness of NDI. I had an old gaming machine running the bridge with a gtx. Have spent some countless days getting it stable. 😪 we had 2-3 video connections going over the bridge. Didn’t seem to overload the gigabit connection, but the latency and jitter perhaps were too much. Well. I don’t make videos anymore, so it doesn’t matter much now. I just wished I could have figured out how to get a stable setup

I started looking into NDI recently with a goal of separating my workbench and streaming/recording setups, scaling it up in the future adding more sources. Works like a charm, the delay is very low compared to OBS Teleport I experimented with before, and NDI being the de facto industry standard, I'll go for it. Since my setup runs on Debian on all machines, I was worried if I could use NDI with it at all, turned out it can be done easily and it works great. Check out the DistroAV plugin (that's how OBS-NDI is named now) and it even includes a NDI library installation script for Linux; it needs some simple adjustment but nothing too neckbreaking.

What can I do, while I'm busy watching a movie on Netflix or KZfaq or busy live streaming on my laptop , it will play for like 10 to 20 minutes or so and then all of a sudden it goes to a blue screen where it says an error has occurred and it shows fetching data and it also has a scanbar on the blue screen, it automatically then goes back to my main screen desktop, if I go back into the movie and sign into Chrome to get to KZfaq it says Chrome wasn't shut down correctly please restore

What if I want to rotate AND crop a camera source, if I still want the cam to be a horizontally aligned? If I apply both cropping is done in relation to the rotated source

This doesn't really make sense to me. I'm not saying you are wrong. But this stuff scrambles my brain. I have everything VB audio. All the cables, voicemeeter and even Matrix . Then, I discovered this thing called the windows mixer You can't do anything without first assigning the mic to VB audio cable in the windows mixer. I also have no clue why my vertical video in OBS is on its side in the OBS virtual cam view in Zoom

For ZoomRoom Use??? Zoom Rooms we have, USBCamera, Speakers, Mic attached to ZoomRoom computer. To use a RJ45NDI computer do I need an Additional computer to handle the NDI input to Output? or can the ZoomRoom Computer provide this service?

If you set Display method is Legacy by Nvidia Card it will popup a error message D3D Startup, you must go the desktop and go into Nvidia Control Panel to set Vmix app run on Intergrated Intel Card, apply and open vmix again, it will start vmix normally, and if you put an input like a picture and look on second monitor, led screen, else... You will see very detailed and clear images and text, but if you change Display Method like Auto, latency or smooth, It will be broken and jagged, not as sharp as the legacy method, that's the big problem with vmix when compared to Nvidia 😂

Thanks Paul, all useful info. It's worth noting that this video seems to be for an earlier version of OBS., as OBS now has a "Docks" menu. There also seems to be more than one version of the book, and in the version I have this content is in Chapter 18.
