During the Tribulation period, 1/3 of Israel (the faithful ones, who refuse to take the mark and worship the Antichrist) will be saved: 2/3 will be sent to the LOF.

Peter says (Acts 2) that Joel was referring to that which happened and resulted from that which happened at Pentecost. I think I'll go with the apostolic interpretation. He also says that the Spirit will be poured out on all mankind, not just Israel, and that has been happening since the 1st coming. Of course God will save Jews, just as He will save people out of every other nation, tongue, and tribe.
