Them Tyrolean grey cattle have got to be amongst the most beautiful cattle in the world. They really are wonderful looking beasts.

Wunderschönes Vieh ich hoffe nur dass die Tiroler Bergbauern den Unfug der Endhornung nicht anfangen und ihren stolzen Tieren ihre Hörnen lassen jedes mal wenn ich eine Enthornte anschaue kommt es mir vor als hätte sie einen Sehr Traurigen Blick

Farming in the high elevations of the Alps in conditions most people would not attempt to do. The resourcefulness and independence really are hallmarks of these hardy mountain farmers and they are proud of their of their animals and lifestyle. You do not see foreign labor doing the hard work here it is all hands on they do it themselves.
