I've been trying to find someone comparing the 2022 ipad pro and 2024 air so thank you. My needs are different though as I'm wanting it for art and not media or video editing. I don't like Apple for their marketing rubbish. It confuses me.

I like your videos. They cover more real world scenarios unlike big tech channels. I want a bigger screen ipad,. I would have gone for the 12.9" M2 pro instead of the new 13" M4 pro cuz the upgrade is mostly insignificant for 99% of its users and daily usage, but there is just $12 difference b/w the 2 here in India, so the new M4 pro makes more sense. The pro-res (120 Hz) screen exclusivity on pros is literally a scam, but for that reason I would not buy Air.

Nice Video, Tech girl. Some are going bonkers over Microsoft’s “Recall” feature in their co-pilot PC’s. Even i wondered what the recall feature has to do with “AI”. Then it hit me that our ability to “recall” past events and information is fundamental aspect and building block of human intelligence. Its what allows us to learn from our experiences, make informed decisions, and build on knowledge over time. So, we are on track in building AI!

the issue is not with the feature but with the implementation. it essentially acts as spyware and allows for bad actors to potentially infiltrate.

Do you ever find that the “search bar” doesn’t work? I find that very annoying. For example, I type EGGS which I have on 3 different lists. It doesn’t find any of them. If I delete one, then reenter, it will find all 3. For organizations: I like my grocery store lists organized by how I walk through the store 👍🏻 thanks for sharing.

Apple is now distant second. And Copilot AI is far superior, so is the recall feature. They are still unable to connect external monitor correctly after years. Asus showed 3 external monitors connected to their 1.5 Kg laptop, one 4K, one 6K and one 8K. Their NPU is 50 tops but can be configured with 150 Tops. Sorry Apple, your Billions wont save you this time.

Get last years M2 Pro or even the M1 Pro, 60hz panel refresh rate is a joke,Apple thinks it’s acceptable still in 2024. 120 hz is some how pro, when it should be standard.

I think you made the perfect decision. The 2022 12.9 ipad pro is not only more expensive but it's actually much more bulky and heavy and has worse battery life because of the mini-led display. As someone who really needs the bug display, the 2024 13 air is worth it

It’s a shame apple themselves do not give a fair trade in.. 2022 m2 12.9 iPad Pro 1tb a trade in value of just £548 against the equivalent m4 version 😮 no loyalty from them when looking to upgrade

I think coming from a pro, you will notice noticeable difference in promotion display, Face ID and speakers.
