Grohle is just another leftover from a band that changed music. Once Kurt died the band had little to offer.

Saw Welles a few years back in Chicago. They were great. Now seeing Jesee popping up as a solo artist...I hope this guy blows up because he is the real deal. The guy is grounded humble and talented as fuck. He said even though the market is oversaturated the cream will still rise to the top....I certainly hope he's right about that because I can name at least a dozen amazing bands who should have broken big...but they didn't and sadly most of the members are back working shit jobs somewhere or they are grinding it out with other bands. If the cream always rises...then we wouldn't be surrounded with a sea of abysmal "artists". Wish this guy all the best.

I wish WELLES would say “ why don’t I fkn interview you” … people who compare him to John Prine … nah … he’s light years above Prine

I dig what Jesse is doing. You can tell he has a creative mind. He's talking but he's also thinking about totally different things at the same time.

"dave grohl the saint of rock n roll" TF LOL. Hell no. I hate dave grohl. But really, hip hop is why rock died out. Rock had its time, just like country. I'm more interested in what's gonna take over rap lol. And it going digital, is irrelevant as to why a music genre becomes less popular.

Whether it's the rock stuff he was doing back then in this video, or the bluegrassy stuff in the backwoods he's doing now, both come off as 100 percent authentic. Impressive guy.
@Pinkeye82517Ай бұрын
Exactly. Authenticity is key. It’s the soul speaking to souls. And that’s why those that connect to it do so deeply.
