It's a narrow road. Showing weakness actually invites bullying by weak folk. However, over-thwarting bullying makes *you* the bully. It's not easy. I walked both sides of the street when I was a bespectacled too-smart kid. I stood out because I was clever and the glasses drew in the bullies ... until they realised I would fight back and fight back hard. That, in school, meant I got the blame for fighting. And that meant that my father beat me every time I got in a fight. So I was trapped because I lost either way. Thankfully after a bit some of my classmates stepped in with variants of "His dad won't let him fight but we can" and that got me through until the late teens meant that nonsense was over.

Can you de-find it? Regarding the vibe-shift video and culture/pop-culture. There is no real culture now. Everything is subculture. Everything is a subreddit. You can see a KZfaqr with 30 million subs, and the people watching him think he's this ubiquitous cultural personality. But talk to everyone in your area about him, and you might find not a single person who knows who he is. That changes the dynamics of getting information out because you used to have localized markets, national markets, and world-markets in media. Like local news vs CNN vs BBC. Everything is atomized now, and you rarely find an event or story that permeates everything the way it once did. Something like Justin Timberlake pulling Janet Jackson's breast out on a live performance. The exceptions are things like Google, Facebook, Twitter who have Single-Sign-Ons for every site with your account through them and very intricate cookies. They get a unique major picture of everything, and they can see these new atomized markets in a way most other people can't. They sell that data to governments and corporations, and they can even lie about what that data says. They can influence public opinion, and see where it's working, where it's not, and why that is on both counts. 15 years ago I read a book on Big Data, and I realized then that the world was never going to be the world I grew up in. Ever.

obv she could get it. She really shines in this outfit singing Morrisey of whatever it is. But seeing women doing things like this for attention, and achieving it; just shows you how screwed we are lol. Repeal the 19th.

I always thought that The Republic in his hand was a stupid move. Clark never really seemed that intelligent. Some wisdom and definitely lawful good but not a genius like Bruce.

I've watched this scene 100x, and at 52 years old, it's the closest thing I can find that can replicate the crazy magnetism of young love. There's nothing like it. When just the presence of that other person is more powerful than a schedule 1 narcotic.

Stupid movie, but it's still better than the others. The problem is that many things I don't buy, like for example the death of his dad in the tornado... really was better to suicide or for his son not to show his identity in front of a bunch of persons in exchange for the life of your father? He is even so fast that he could have saved his dad and maybe no one would have ever noticed.

Cavill did the best he could. The problem is that Snyder never understood Superman. Superman is the light, he is hope. He is kind and brave. What he isn't is a moody emo guy. Making a character dark, doesn't make him interesting.
