That track needs to be shale to make it remotely interesting. We desperately need to bring the fun back from the 80's and 90's. A disappointing race in that not enough swapping and changing going on.

brisca aint what it uaed to be four meeting's a weekend and 50 plus cars. This is like watching hot rods not for me and to pay 25 quid each and family to travel long distance to watch nearly 40 F!s turn up for a semi final Hmmm ?

Lees het regelement eensvan de ziijkant duwe mag niet je mag hard tikken op bumper maar niet op zijrek en die aktie op lee fairhust slaat nergens op gewoon achterlijk en niet de eerste keer . Doe dit in emmen en je bent een halvjaar klaar. En terecht ook aan stockcars zitten regels lees het regelement

Waar moet de brisca tegen op treden? Het is toegestaan in stockcar f1, als je dat niet leuk vind, er rijdt ook nog een hotrod klasse, daar is duwen niet toegestaan.

I've got an idea , why don't they reduce the number of cars in a race ? That way they don't have pile ups every few laps , where they then have to keep stopping and starting until there's few enough cars to actually have a decent race .

Yorstox have stopped members of the crowd going into the pits once the racing has started . That’s what keeps me away from Odsal....Never appears to have a big turnout of cars either. Also far too many yellow flags these days......

Like speedway, it is no longer cheap to attend what used to be a working class sport. And that Brisca F1 website is a total mess, and always out of date. The last results it has posted came from Buxton on August 5th.

I used to watch stockcars for years until moving to Spain . Can someone explain why there is such a small crowd here ? There was always such packed out stadiums .

As I understand it the track I think is only one they race without catch fencing so for safety the crowd has to be further up the terraces gives the impression there’s few

Frankie is really struggling to get round 4. Having to open the steering a lot on most laps, regardless of other cars. It’s probably what caused that crash with the roll too.

That's the difference between Tom and everyone else apart from Frankie who's the only current driver to have been at that level. I know people say "he's got the most expensive car etc etc" but it's been shown many times that you can't buy success in stock car racing, you've got to have the talent too!

That statement doesn't hold up as if it was just down to money as you claim then Nigel Harrhy would be world champion he has thrown huge amounts of money at the sport with little success, Tom has got that extra talent that makes him the no 1 driver in the sport today. Andy Smith was the same and Frankie in his prime, Lundy, Pete Falding. Why do hate the guy because he's doing well? I don't get it..

@@edwardharris9810 Nobody on the grid has got the disposable budget that Harris has. Harrison might get close but that’s his own funding where Harris has a big sponsor providing endless funds. Doesn’t matter if Harris blows 10 engines a season as he will just get the 11th on a plate. Harris can drive the cars to destruction and know that whatever breaks will get replaced free of charge where’s the rest of the drivers have to manage their finances much more cautiously and preserve their cars more.

I’m glad Craig Finnikin won that race. Dave Berresford must have been going some to have won that final back in 1983, Bert Finnikin was on fire that year.
