Gotta applaud you guys! Wife and I always said it's too rough and remote for us! Doubt with what we're use too could even live there now. Have you guys considered Manilla? Makati or BGC. If you don't want to buy a property and rent, life is still slightly cheaper there than back in the US.

I couldn't see myself bringing my American spouse to live in the Philippines. It is fun for a while but it can get boring. I don't want to take away my husband's independence away from him and besides the Health Services aren't not good at all. You and your wife made the right decision to go back. Good luck! We are originally from the Oregon/ Washington State area.

She had spent 10 years away from home in the USA, so it was my turn to experience her side of the world in the Philippines. I made it 5 years lol. Thanks for watching! I (Kevin) am the same. Grew up in Washington but have lived in Oregon since 92. Amping always!

You made the choice my man!Getting old is something you cannot avoid!As we get older,we don’t know what health issues we may encounter.Though there are great medical facilities in the Philippines,and cheap too,it’s a matter of economics.US health insurance are not covered there.The greatest peace you can ever have is a peace of mind,knowing that you’re in safe hand in the event you need urgent medical attention in the US.Good luck and keep on enjoying your retirement.

Welcome back to Oregon, things are slightly on the upswing here, the gov. overturned the law that made hard drugs not illegal anymore. I think they are tackling the homeless issue and they voted out the worthles DA in Multnomah county. As someone who has lived in Oregon their whole life and does occasional videos on my vacations I don't think there is a more beautiful place to be (I've traveled half the US). You have the coast, the forests, the dunes, all things you can make videos on. Wish you the best of luck, from a fellow Oregonian :)

Thanks man! Good to be home. It's been an eye opener for sure. Definitely Oregon is a great state and tons to do and see here. Now if they can lower the cost of living in the PNW! Wow!

Hey! Would you recommend to use then in Taipei the app Klook? Was throwing the lantern included with the price?
@lumpialifeАй бұрын
We had no problem using Klook in Taipei and I recommend this tour! The lanterns were not included, but it was very inexpensive and you could decorate it up and get help with filming, photos and launching. Have fun!

We shopped at Vross and Gaisano too. We found that Vross meat is fresher, and Gaisano meat is cheaper than SM and Robinsons Mall. Thanks 👍

Hello. May i ask which ticket type you got and if it was worth it? Didnt you have a hard time going home? Read in some vlogs that it was a bit chaotic that some Premium/VIP ticket holders ended up riding the red trucks because they had a hard time looking for their assigned vans. Thanks!
@lumpialife2 ай бұрын
We had the standard ticket. Seemed like a decent ticket. We were back from the stage a bit, but we could see everything just fine. The transportation was a little chaotic. More in the beginning of the trip from Maya mall. I guess we were supposed to ride a songthaew there, but ended up in a van. After the event we just got into a huge line of people and caught a songthaew back to Maya, that we ended up hiring to take us all the way back to our hotel as trying to book a Grab would have been almost impossible! Overall, I'm glad we got to experience the lantern festival. Check out the hotel we stayed at in Chiang Mai. Cute place! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pb95gKxlvKrTlps.htmlsi=KJz9U1pxbyRiW-bb
