I think loneliness is at an all time high, and so many people need constant refreshing in the things of Christ in conversation, music and shows. People are also very tired or ill, of all ages, and every advantage by being exposed to uplifting Christ words, thoughts, ideas, etc. make the difference. It's easy to get discouraged for many and to escape into old secular ways. Thanks for your many years of encouragement in desperation- that's why I would come to your channel. It met that deep need of support always pointing to Christ.

Despite all the suffering of the wait I have to live, despite the fear, the chaotic thoughts fighting in my head, and feelings in my heart, I feel, deep inside, that "still small voice" that keeps reminding me that what God has promised me will be fulfilled, no matter what.

I was depressed, desperate, tired, so much to tell God to just kill me. He did not. I then told Him to just use me as He wished; to keep me in suffering, if He wished. He then came, out of nothing. I cannot forget the angels, their light and power, His light. The Word of God that came to me. I know it seems Impossible. And He kept coming, when I was hopeless and lost. As if He wanted me to know that He is with me. Until one day, He gave me an impossible promise: He came, showed me His Glory and Grace. I will marry a specific girl, He said. For various, important reasons, that I cannot explain, it would be impossible for me to be with her. Also, He said she will still be virgin. I cant't understand how this could be possibile, given how handsome she is. But this is God. However, I have to wait. I started to think of her as the gift from God for me. After years, I discovered that her name actually means "gift from God"... He also told me that I have to do nothing: she will do everything. And He also Told me that it will be a torture. After years, it is a torture. The suffering that comes from what happens is unbearable. The opposite of what He promised me seems to happen. It is hard, painful. I almost went insane when I started to question whether I really saw and heard what I saw and heard, or not. But He came again. I cant't seem to be able to make It. I've spent years founding my life on His promise. Overcoming sins, as much as I could... I could go with other, nice and beautyful girls. I do not. Only because she is the one who God promised me. I was only falling when I questioned my sanity. But He came again. I am still not with her. Things seem to go well, then everything falls apart, and they fall on me, taking me down. Fear falls on me. I fight it back, but it seems to be overwhelming me. He made a promise and touched me on my weakest point, my deepest desire: having a family, and kids. I feel like I'm in front of the red sea, waiting for it to open. But it doesn't. Like Abraham, "who against hope believed in hope". Time is running out. If I wait and nothing happens, I will be old enough to remain childless. My only dream shattered. But He is God. And I'd rather die childless for wrongly believing in God, than to have childrens outside the Will of my Father. But He is God. He does not lie, nor fail. I am wrecked, in suffering and pain. But I stand. I glorify God, even in suffering. I don't say this around. I write here. Your voice is sincere.
