Okay, so, until this video, I’d never seen Peridiam’s face and… while I never imagined him to be _unfortunate_ looking, he’s actually super cute! ☺️ (I say that completely respectfully, of course, as I know that he’s a happily married straight man - not that I wouldn’t be respectful otherwise!) Also, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I’ve heard/read a couple times that Cydney has 0 interest in doing Survivor again until she retires ftom her bodybuilding career as she sustained hella long lasting issues with her body/muscle mass the first time. I think we will not see any players that we have seen until Cambodia, not players who originated from Kaoh Rong and beyond, but players who appeared on Cambodia and Game Changers and Winners at War like Parvati Shallow or Sandra. The only players I see them considering that we have not seen since Cambodia is Earl Cole and Russell Hantz.

Yea if Carson is not in that season Jam Jam does not win. Just like you said Cody needed Jesse. Jam Jam needed Carson. He wouldn’t have came close to the final 3 without Carson. He ran that season as well as Jesse did in 43. Carson was actually the Social Butterfly, strategic player and would have beat fire against any other player besides maybe Gabler but probably even did his fire faster then Gabler. Because they both had a fire started and Heidi was so much faster than Gabler. Also I think Dee is overrated. Katurah is one of the worst players to ever play the game. And if Austin wasn’t a lovestruck young man which we don’t get that much anymore, I think Dee loses because I think Drew and Julie were better players.

Carson did practice fire, and did make a good one, just not as super fast as Heidi. I thought he was so good at making bonds with two older people you wouldn’t expect him to bond with, makes strong bonds with Heidi and others such that he was part of nearly everyone’s alliance, yet kept him threat level low by downplaying his strategic and prep smarts. Even surprised Yam-Yam and Caroline when he revealed he was a NASA intern!

I haven't been able to watch until now, but I loved the episode. I stopped watching the MCU after The Avengers, so thanks for reviewing it all so I don't have to. Looking forward to you guys updating your Top 100s and whatever you have planned next.

great podcast!! But Gabler and Dee are way too high in my personal opinion and Cassidy, Omar and Erika way too low. Dee played a great game but there was in my opinion an issue in the edit. we get to final 3 and feel like Dee will sweep all the votes when in fact she gets half of them and most likely loses in the event of a tie. she got 30 confessionals in the first 11 episodes and then got 30 in the last two. that's less than 3 per episode on average!! so to say she dominated is surprising to me. she was in an alliance that dominated the game but she made mistakes : not reading well enough the room on the Sean vote and voting Sifu the Kelly vote was also something that went against her. Drew said in his exit interview he saw Dee and Kellee getting close and wanted to break that up. she couldn't get the votes to go an other way to save her ally. her one big move was the Emily vote and her getting to the end relies mostly on getting on a season and a tribe with Austin and Julie who were never going to have the chops to take out their closest allies. any other season she barely makes merge. also Katurah not voting Dee at F5 has nothing to do with Dee's ability to get Katurah to not vote for her. Katurah said she was spooked by Jake and how unpredictable he was with his votes and though he was going to vote her out. Had she dominated the way you claim, she would have gotten more confessionals. Katurah didn't go to tribal pre-mrrge and still got more confessionals. there is an argument to be made about Katurah to put her in top 25 imo. Gabler has also an issue editwise. you can see production had really a tough time giving him a good edit simply because he didn't have any moves and lucked out at the end. his two moves editwise are : the Ellie move but you can see clearly everyone wanted Ellie gone at that time so they let Gabler have that move and if they didnt want Ellie gone, they would have kept her regardless how what Gabler wants. they were calling him an effing idiot at that time. the other "move" is beating Jesse at fire which isn't a move. Cassidy manoeuvered her game so well that she positioned herself in a way yo make sure she would get with the right people to F3 she hid behind Cody, Karla and Jesse and took them out one by one. the issue with 43 is that it felt the jury voted at F3 the same way they played the game. we had Cody, Jesse, Karla running the game post merge and the rest : Ryan, Samy, Noelle, Jeanine viting out who people were telling them to vote out until they were being voted out themselves. it felt the same way in F3 in that they voted for who Karla, Jesse and Cody told them to vote for. James was the only one who had his own opinion. Cody called Jeanine at threat before voting her out when she had basically done nothing. at that time, they all knew Erika had won and Maryanne's win was spoiled. he went on to say in exit interview that his F4 was Gabler, Jesse, Owen because he wanted a man to win, knew people didn't respect Owen and if not him, wanted to see Jesse or Gabler take it meaning Cassidy could have given the performance of a lifetime and still wouldn't have gotten his vote. there was a frustration with Karla regarding Cassidy (that was never explained) as well as with jesse. Karla told Cassidy if she votes her out, she won't get her vote and same thing with Jesse if she doesn't put herself in fire. those two were voted out and two days later had to vote for a winner and were still frustrated with Cassidy pulling the wool over their eyes. And gabler benefited from all that. i hated that FTC because each question to Cassidy felt like it was tailored to see her screw up or unable to give an acceptable answer and each question to Gabler felt like it was there to highlight him Jeanine telling Gabler "your instincts were spot on about me and Ellie coming after you" was completely ridiculous. she kept speaking badly about him in confessionals and instincts had nothing to do with him knowing they were coming after him: Samy outright told him they were and they did that to use Gabler!!! Anyways that is my opinion. and if the unexpected win is what makes like this season the best out of the new era than Samoa has to be your best of the old era seasons because no one saw Natalie White coming !! Erika on the other hand played a very smart social strategic game coupled with 3 immunity wins. A lot of people wanted her gone but she used her social skills to get to the end with the right people and win. she had more than one move if you watch clearly that season : - she got rid of Nasseer at the split tribal council because she felt everyone loved him and he could get votes on the end. she then proceeded to vote out shan. Ricard said that she had a big hand in that move which got her his vote at the end. but her biggest move in my opinion is voting Danny out but mostly keeping Deshawn when everybody including Ricard wanted Deshawn because she had stronger ties with him and when Danny goes to his and Deshawn's surprise and Deshawn says thank you, she replies "you're welcome friend" very subtetly to show the entire jury : "i am in control" she is imo the most underrated winner of the new era. her win is very Vecepia-esque imo. Erika should be top 5 or even top 3 of the new era. she is the one person i could see win twice because people underestimate her so much when she is so savvy and smart.
