sir I have a question, this aqua signal ignites the gas boiler but is it a continous signal or just a one time ? the reason i am asking this is , i am doing a project and i have connected a electric heater to heat water but i dont want to run both heaters at same time and want to save my gas money so i figured if i just block this aqua signal , i can stop gas boiler from igniting ! so please if you reply it will be a huge help ! thanks in advance!!

@@shubhambadgujar9943 The aqua sensor is a continuous signal as it keep the boiler on whilst the hot water demands remains on. If the aqua sensor is removed from the turbine, the boiler won't recognise the hot water demand hence won't fire up for hot water. Yes it was slightly tricky however the customer insisted to have the old boiler fixed so we complied.

Selam Alaikum brither. This was very informative, especially for new gas engineer. Please follow up in more detail about the cylinder stat. And also other controls such as Heatmiser ( for underfloor heating ) and definitely on in depth video on opentherm wiring and it’s benefits. May Allah reward your efforts. This was fantastic. 🤲

Hello mate, had this exact same fault sequence. Changed the gas valve & all good for a couple of months, then started throwing the same faults again but managed to clear it and all good at the mo. 🤞. Seems to be common problem on these... Pcb next or scrapping tbh 😂

I would say buy a refurbished PCB from eBay and change it if it gives you the fault again. These are very reliable boilers so worth keeping tbh.

Probably the most comprehensive explanation I gave come across as you deal with both gas and electric issues...well done. Keep up the standard This fault was due to the gas valve and is a known design fault on the vaillants pros and plus which was kept quiet for many years.
