Wow, such a wide number of experiences...broken equipment, pony foals, crazy weather, lovely vistas and flora!... Firebird has the cutest Yankee accent

We are having a variety of experiences and loving them all. The bad ones help male the good ones gooder! And yes, Firebird is 100% New Yorker. Hope we see her again down trail. And we do miss being at home and with our friends...

Do you have an estimated number of folks who were in the.parade?
@ohlookoutdoors2 ай бұрын
No, but about 23,000 people attended the 3-day event in a town of less than 1000 residents. It was crazy! And FUN!

Eric, glad you are able to care for your foot and still participate in the hike in a limited way...How long are those salamanders?

Absolutely! Congrats on 400! It so great to relive the trail thru you! I wondered about the shelter at Roan, when I was walking past it was really cold and I was ill prepared. Met a hiker named Topo who helped me out and I’m pretty sure saved my life. We’re still friends after all this time. Really glad you are able to continue your hike! Kudos to Outdoors for finding a way to support you. Outdoors, really hope you can get back on trail! Love listening to Oh Look and I love what she is doing, but I miss the camaraderie between the two of you. And the obvious care you have for each other. Oh look, thanks again for taking us with you and continuing the adventure! I’m loving your channel!

Thanks for taking us along on your journey! This was great! The walk over the bridge, the views, the conversation with the trail angels was wonderful! Had to think back to where Sam’s Gap was. Can’t wait to see your pictures at Big Bald, Uncle Johnny’s and Beauty Spot! These are excellent! So much fun to relive the experience, but also see a different take on it. See some of the things I missed or didn’t do. Everyone’s experience is different. Love how y’all point out the flora! And yes, the gnats are terrible. They drove my step son mad when he came with me once. Your videos are wonderful!

Like the dates, and places where you are! Show a tad more of the “trail”. Otherwise, your vids are exquisite!! Genuine, real. Oh Look, you can narrate some, if you wish. ( No offense, Strongman!! lol!)

We don't recommend drinking the water along the TBTL due to previous oilwell drilling and possible contamination. The only alligators might be at Toledo Bend Lake on the eastern end, and there is a park with faucets for water there. Cache water along the trail at road crossings.

Love when you give dates of when you are where you are at. It helps me determine if we will meet or not. Really hope we do. Things I’d like to see more of…when you zero…what do you do for fun? More restaurant critiques, more shout outs of hostels you’ve stayed at. Slack packing is definitely awesome. Glad you’re feeling better. Know you’re probably past Standing Bear. That place is just beautiful. I was awestruck! Love what you two are doing. Can’t wait to see more!
