Nice another good reference for 3d animation practice for movesets of katana users. The slowmo really helps now I can really tell that they just straight up hard transition the key pose of vergil during the start of the spin in Aerial Rave B at 0:54 and the last downward slash at 0:55 always wondered how they done that since the momentum. Kinda odd but when it's animating really fast the hard key pose transition doesn't seem that noticeable. And they just let the blade clip to the sheathe slightly when doing the sheathing animations hahah they know it's too much of a hassle to keyframe every frame to make the sword not clip while slowly sheathing.

Thanks for the showcase I remember Rodin giving access to the fire claws in 1 and it being the best move in the game by far. It would melt health of even Joys and Gracious and Glorious. Worth the price for that move alone. Rodin in 2 doesn't seen to have anything on that level. Some decent crowd control moves but doesn't even come CLOSE to the what the chainsaws can do with a little just release practice. And even the whips kick pause combo is way better at crowd control.

I noticed that you can't do hold strikes in between hits in the pause combo like you did in Bayo 1. That was by far the coolest thing you could do with this sword :(

underrated weapon. Moment I get the Flails in the underground sanctuary, I immediately upgrade it because this will be the best and quickest weapon to deal with some of the fiend challenges in the area.

hair disappears with rifles, because you cant see it when aiming down a scope, and the game needs the extra computational power it gets from not rendering the hair because hair physics are "expensive" for for gpus

I'm not sure if this has been addressed in the comment, but her circle + shoot combo at 6:43 actually homes in on the nearest enemy. In this video it's shown that she fires her guns at random directions, but if there's an enemy, she'll focus fire on that enemy, and the shots are powerful enough to launch smaller enemies.

I only recently noticed about the 6:56 part, that is, when you charge your attacks, you get a blue diamond (for punch) and a pink one (for kick). Any idea what they're supposed to be for? I haven't checked any in-game manuals extensively and currently my Switch is not with me so I can't check, but the last time I tested in training mode, I don't notice anything affected by those two diamonds even after I fill up their gauges. PS: The diamonds are on the top left below the life bar, btw.
