lol my build went about exactly as I expected It was referencing the John Dodd "The Beast" car, a real car that was on Top Gear at some point, and is essentially just a Rolls Royce Merlin 16L v12 engine, the aircraft engine powering the Spitfire (the real one is 27L, but I was limited by Automation) on wheels It's like 700hp and about as many torques, the IRL one has a TH400 3 speed auto, but I decided to put a manual in it for enjoyment's sake Also I could have shortened the gears a whole lot, I forgot you were running the totally-not-top-gear test track

My own was Just what if Rover MG used a big turbo and the freelanders awd to turn the ZS into a rally contender, may have over worked the Sports compound (not even semi slicks) with 375hp but I'm sure the 3 people who would buy one would love that about it. Also glad Cone noticed it seemed floaty, been having that with my cars recently, not sure if I'm just missing something obvious with my suspension setups or I just need to crank tyre quality.

I agree that we should do more budget/poverty spec build offs some time. It takes a decent amount of work to make them look right and to make the suspension and drivetrain feel more budget focused

Mine was the idea that the car manufacturer would run out of money for an engine so lease an old 30's aircraft engine from Napier. Splitting an H-24 into a flat-12 is just pure racing pedigree, clearly.

There were so many nicely done cars, but I really liked the aesthetic of NetBlitzer’s car, especially the red and tan/cream (wood?) interior. I also appreciate the use of that specific upside down steering wheel (we needed a three spoke wheel with a single spoke on top!) I spent way too many hours doing the interior details on mine, but I guess it was worth it!

I really wanted to dislike this. Ive done hundreds of tires and valve stems for a LARGE motorcycle dealler in Ohio. That should be too much of a risk of a leak. But its still pretty interesting, and I'll have to try it on the bike now.

They used to have a demo derby at the Appalachian Fair, but I haven't been there in a few years. I did go to a tractor pull over at Bristol Motor Speedway in the mid to late 80s. 👍👍

Can confirm to Kurt I did not practice 😆 Last time I played Wreckies was when we first tested these tracks. That Gorbie did you no favours in the last race though, the Dominator I was using was so easy to drive there, wasn't sliding anywhere near as much.
