@@SeventhSedgeAfter many years of knitting the old way, struggling to sew in sleeves etc neatly and not tight , I have been converted to top down knitting, even managed to write my own pattern to fit me. Been trying to download your baby sweater pattern but no luck so far.

Just knit until the end of the row. But in this case, recalculate the placement of the buttonholes. I didn't test this pattern without short rows, so I don't know what the result you have will!

Это без учета планки на застежку. Но вы не должны боятся укороченных рядов, анатомически спереди есть вырез горловины.

I ended up with 138 stitches after the body increases section instead of 136. Will that be problematic as I continue? I’d hate to have to redo it all.

Shouldn't be a problem, but when you switch to 1x1 ribbing you will have 2 extra stitches, just knit them according to the 1x1 ribbing pattern.

I'm a new knitter so another question - I am 6 rows into the body portion and I have a gap in the side seam of the body where it switches from purl to knit doing the special stitch using the bar between. It doesn't seem like I can tighten it by pulling. Do you know why this would happen and is there anything that I can do to fix it without pulling it all out.

So sorry if this is a silly question but keep undoing my work because I’m not certain where you’ve divided the neckband stitches to start knitting. Appears to be two stitches after the centre marker at 27 stitches. Excluding the cast on stitch…is this correct?

Hello! I divided into 27 stitches and 21 stitches. But it doesn't matter at all. This division is simply for knitting using the magic loop technique.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand your question correctly. After you have cast on 48 stitches, You need to separate them anywhere to form a “magic loop” and knit the whole round alternately k1, p1. You can also replace circular needles with double pointed needles and thus avoid forming a "magic loop".

Chest circumference: 18 inches/46 cm; Cardigan length: 9 inches/22 cm; Sleeve circumference at armhole: 7 inches/18 cm; Sleeve circumference at down: 5.5 inches/14 cm; Sleeve length: 8.5 inches/22 cm. This pattern is customizable depending on your preferences for length.
