Keep the cars as Oem standard so you can get them done with less costs. Not all mods will be everyones taste. Keep up the great work

When I did the brakes on my mates car I disconnected the battery while the handbrake was off I don’t know if you should do that or if it will work on a jlr 😅

Also, for the handbrake on the range rover - 9v battery and 2 bits of wire, into the electrical connector for the handbrake (as in the connector near the caliper), powers it enough for it to be wound back. We did my friends insignia like this, and just used a one handed clamp to push the piston back in.

Dont bother wasting money on mods for the S1. Get it buttoned up and sold. As a write off its worth less than a non write off and you'll not get the money back on the mods.

On the Range Rover your have to put the hand brake in service mode using the obd tool

Ive also been watching since the megane days. Its hard if your filming solo... theres less banter and interaction for the viewer. Im not comparing you to the likes of mr armstrong , but as you did mention the big boys in your video... its not so much the cars... matt Armstrong could fix a 1 litre punto and get 1m views... its the way he films, edits etc. Drama, people love drama, suspense etc... hes the king of that. Although his videos are often long... they are packed and fast moving. I know it must be hard doing this whilst having a full time job... but maybe try and cram a lot of progression into a single 30 minute video, even if its fortnighly to begin with. This is only constructive criticism, but a lot of the time your videos are quite long, and doesnt feel like much progression has been made per video. Chris and matts videos are the same format ... naration, filming, editing and drama... plenty of drama! Drama thats likely hyped up for our viewing pleasure... Basically i dont think your doing much wrong... but maybe a bit more on editing, music clips, sound effects , some transitions between clips... build suspence add drama... regualar voice over bits with slow mo video clips... gotta really push the boat out with editing etc Just my opinion, long time viewer and long long time you tube viewer lol. Keep up the grind mate

great video with lots of little jobs ticked off mate. its a shame everything parts wise always takes so long, I think a lot of the big boys you are comparing yourself too have a lot of these projects stored up for a few months before they release them which gives them time to collect most of the parts they know they will need to repair the cars to a KZfaq looking standard. Whereas you are wanting the cars to be 100% right and done not just KZfaq done mate. Yes the cars have taken a lot longer than you would have liked and probably longer than they needed to take but you need to give yourself more credit man, you are 1 man working on cars in his spare time, on a road/street in between working fulltime and having to film and edit it all yourself. plus others have the money there to buy all these parts saved up or get into big debt just to be able to do it, yes you could have gotten the Subaru fixed a lot faster had you not bought the S1 but I'm sure most people prefer the S1 content just for being a German car over a jap scooby hatch. I am probably a little more excited to see the Subaru getting fixed and driving myself just because its something different but both cars are cool and I am excited to see them mate. keep up the good work and I hope the holiday was good.

Nice to see the Audi coming together at last. Honestly wouldn’t bother with the mod’s mate, reuse the S1 grill, get the car finished and sold ASAP. Unfortunately, the longer it sits on the driveway the more it will depreciate and the less money you’ll get. ✌🏼

Tried to fit a decat on my Quattro a3 on my dads drive and I’m a painter and decorator not a mechanic haha btw what a fucking piss take had a sore neck for month after it and a few more grey hairs 😂😂 took me all weekend I was fully expecting to do it in an hour boy was i wrong haha fair play mate had similar issues with fitting exhausts with those daft clamps and exhaust weld shit never easy or pretty 😅

Thanks for this, good effort. A few points: 1) it's rawl plug, not wall plug 2) you should never mount anything into the mortar between bricks, a child could rip it out - has to go into the brick 3) I couldn't obviously see whether, after wall mounting, there is a part to properly seal off the bottom part of the cam (i.e. the end the battery slides into - hopefully that is possible as I'll be mounting mine tomorrow! On my Mk7 1.4 Tsi, I have knocking on front right side (passenger side), when I start the engine - the same second I hear knock (tuc), on small bumps, on uneven road only on low speed 0-20km/h, on speed bump i hear the same sound. When I quickly release the clutch several times in reverse or forward I hear the same knocking. I went in several service who works only suspension, and they said me everyithing with suspension is ok. But knocking is still. Does it engine mount, or something else? Drive me crazy. How do I check this engine mount is it good or bad? Which symptoms your car has it?
