United 93 movie affected me a lot. For three days I wanted to be alone. I didnt want to talk to anyone. I didnt watch tv or movies. I didnt hear music or read. I just did my job & chores until that feeling subsided.

Yes 7 Leguas is amazing, my other favs are Cazcanes, Tequila Ocho, Mijenta, Cierto, G4, and AtreNom. Those are my staples. When I feel like treating myself it’s always Tears Of Llrona ! I travel to MX 2/3 times a year. I know my tequilas. Nobody can argue with any of the tequila’s that I’ve mentioned !

@@TequilaPrincessMx No, he was Mexican from a Canadian father and a Swiss mother. He was born in Sombrerete Zacatecas. The US government sent people to get rid of his baptismal certificate because they didn't want people to know that he was born in Mexico. Edison spoke perfect Mexican Spanish and even spoke with an accent, his full name was even Tomas Alva Edison, with both maternal and paternal last names like they do in Mexico..

Pathetic... she says "this happens all the time" (and yet she has never reported it?)... and the "Tequila princess" flight attendant is asking for us to send her money to buy more drinks that she can sip while she reviews aviation disasters. I pray to the Lord God above that I am never on a flight that this irresponsible woman is serving on. I will be reporting her to the FAA at the soonest opportunity.

Is there a way I can use a different flower for the day of the dead. I wish to practice in honor of my grandmothers bloodline. Mama Rita, She was half Spanish/Mexica and Romani bohemian. Tradition was important to her and the children didn’t really carry on the tradition. She grew up in Minnesota Wisconsin area when her father great grandpa Zamos fled Mexico after the assassination of poncho villa. Apparently he was one of like four doctors who was given permission to work on poncho villas shoulder injury during the final battle of the revolution. He didn’t feel safe in Mexico after the hit. So fled as north as he could.

Cempasuchil flower is known as Marygold in english and is kinda easy to get by. But if you can't, you can use any flower, is the intention that counts :) or you can make them with paper, many elementary schools do that so the altar won't die out quickly and thr kids have a feeling of more participation

In aviation, your Mach number is the multiplier of the speed of sound. The calculation is named after its inventor, Ernst Mach. This number varies, depending on altitude, air density, humidity, and other factors. Breaking the sound barrier is Mach 1. This was done in first 1947 by Chuck Yeager in the Bell X-1. Mach numbers would continue to get broken until William Knight achieved mock 6.7 at an altitude of over 102,000 feet in the X 15 in 1967. Today, the fastest in atmosphere plane that can take off and land on its own power is still the SR-71 Blackbird. Designed with a slide rule and absolutely no computers, there is no official maned plane to have broken its record. Its top numbers are still classified, but we know it flies at an altitude over 80,000 feet, and its top mock number is around Mach 3.5. I’ll let you do the math and figure out that many miles an hour.

The F14s in the movie are real, supplied by the US Navy. They did belong to the Jolly Rogers Squadron, the same Squadron that starred in the movie "The Final Countdown". Appearing here in Executive Decision was one of last official acts of the Jolly Rogers before they were disbanded upon retiring the F14.

It's not radiation, but chemicals. The beepy thingy is an electronic nose, essentially, that smells the vapors from the explosives. I've worked with similar devices.

Lembro de quando era adolescente e fazia teatro e música em um circo. Todo ano tinha um tema e uma vez o tema foi o dia dos mortos. Foi a primeira vez que tive um contato grande com a cultura mexicana. No teatro fizemos apresentações e explicamos como era esse dia. Na música, o professor havia nos mostrado o filme 'The Book of Life'. Foi uma experiência mágica e hoje em dia se transformou em algo ainda mais cheio de significados para mim. Ano passado meu pai veio a falecer, e uma das coisas que me ajudou a superar, foi saber que enquanto eu tivesse memórias sobre ele e continuasse a passa-las em diante, meu pai ainda continuaria vivo. Aqui no Brasil temos o dia de finados. Algumas pessoas vão até o cemitério visitar entes queridos, porém nada grandioso como no México. Pelo menos não que eu saiba. Adorei seu video e beijos do Brasil 'u'

My uncles cousin became a fighter pilot because of the first top gun, he said when the first movie came out the navy recruiters were waiting outside the theatres so I’d say yes the navy had a huge spike in enrollment 😂

Holaa, ahorita mismo estoy pasando por una situacion dificil por cosas de la vida no pude estudiar a mis 17 años en la uni y ahora que tengo 20 años estoy pensando en hacerlo porque ya tengo la posibilidad y si en la universidad quiero estudiar Diseño pero solo me da miedo mi edad. Muy aparte que tambien quiero ser flight attendance pero me dicen que tengo que tener 21 para hacerlo. Me encuentro muy confundida porque mi mama no entiende que quiero hacer la dos cosas. Aparte que la uni aqui son 5 años. Estaba pensando estudiar 1 año diseño y luego irme de flight attendance en eso ya cumplo mis 21 para serlo.

Obviamente no te puedo decir que hacer, ambas carreras tienen sus pros y contras, porque no intentas hacer practicas en algun despacho de diseño para hacerte una idea mas clara de como es el trabajo y poder decidir mejor
