I miss this version of the Grateful Shred. The recent lineups have not been close to this one. I hope Dan can bring the Mapache guys back into the fold at some point. Also, I love seeing a George Greenough sticker on that guitar. Love it on so many levels.

I've been listening to Billy doing bluegrass for years. I first heard this I swear I thought it was Jerry. Most don't know Jerry started out playing blue grass here in NC too. Billy can play any syringed instrument, but his mastery of the electric guitar leaves me speecless

Why did such a talented artist take his own life? Depression?

The Jungle Boogie from that set, on Thursday night, kind of set the tone for the entire weekend. Tom Petty was on point and the Allman Brothers Band last outdoor festival. It was a great weekend. Shame Bobby cancelled.

LOVE YOU, BILLY STRINGS! I DO BELIEVE. BILLY IS THE BEST GUITARIST EVER. AND I was just a kid when Jimi played. I know Marcus King is good too. But BILLY is THE best.

I don't get it. This lead guitarist, who is trying to fill Jerry's shoes has a horrible voice.
