Thank you for the detailed explanation. I see now the difference in your latest video where the finished piece is spinning around. The image does look much clearer on the side you added the stringers. I also prefer the texture on that side. Thanks again! Waiting on my new kiln to come.

What’s the reasoning for fusing it upside down? It really turned out great! Saw it in the stringer video

Hi @DannyP i do that because i believe the clear layer on top is not as colorfull as when the colored pieces of glass are on top. Should i put the clear layer on the bottom and the colored pieces on top in the first fuse they will induvidual fuse round, round of there own edge, and not fuse into one single flat piece. Also bubbles that are between the opaque glass and the clear glass will not be visible when the piece is displayed because they are now on the back side.

Stunning! What filament are you using that is on the glass to help you cut the correct shapes? How do you remove the filament? thank you
