Tasha, I learned about you from your fantastic interview at AI Video School. I commented there, but is worth repeating that you reflect how AI tools can empower storytelling. You are an example of how AI enables important voices like yourself to bring their visions to life! We need more stories that have depth of heart. It reminds us how AI is another tool that transforms workflow but still requires human direction and storytelling. AI will only become more Magickal, and artists like you are important at this juncture in demonstrating best practices in utilizing AI tools that serve the artist, not steal our imagination and struggles that make us creative. As the author of “ AI Manifesto” that examines this bifurcation moment for humanity, AI is its sign post. Yes, there will be a lot more crappy, soulless AI content and more expectation for push-button art, but like all disruptions, it will be creatives like you who use AI, rather than AI using us. Just like all mechanistic science, AI can’t create something out of nothing; it exploits, hacks, and replicates. AI will be no different. AI will never have the heart and soul where real stories are born; they live in our human hearts. We will deal with AI like we deal with entities, like ancient shamans dealt with entities. We may get what we want from them, but not always in the way we thought. I have made my AI Manifesto audio book available for free and it’s inspiring to discover this shared common frequency with your heart onesocial.media/manifesto ❤

Filmmaker’s note: As with the Maya Angelou project, I took little creative license with the telling of John McAfee’s life story. My standards are high when it comes to respecting the sanctity of a human being's life and their journey. Consequently, this portrayal of John McAfee - (even down to the use of such terms like "addict") - has been drawn from McAfee's own retelling of his life story.

When you animate them you can prompt for blinking eyes, and in some lip sync apps the eyes will spontaneously blink when talking 👌🏽

Filmmaker’s note: Out of respect for Maya Angelou’s life, (and the “guardedness” us fans have over her legacy), I took little creative license in the making of this trailer. Therefore, any events that may be considered “scandalous” can be traced back to her autobiographical books and interviews… (Oh, and I highly recommend the movie “Little Murders,” directed by Alan Arkin and written by Jules Feiffer, [Angelou’s “new” friend in the trailer who’s in the living room with James Baldwin and Jules’ wife, who - side note - got Maya to write her first autobiographical book]. I’ve always been a fan of the dark comedy, so when I discovered the connection I was stoked…) Okay, back to working on “Hangman,” (see link in description), and other projects... (Is this how comments work? lol)

It is cool to see actual writers in the space, most are only concerned about visual and don’t have a storytelling background. There should be an ai filmmaking revolution but it’s just a few of us for now
@TashaCaufield2 ай бұрын
I completely agree. I think the tech will best serve "complete" filmmakers, (i.e. writer/directors and directors who have access to good scripts... Oh, and let's not forget editing and sound, [and I'm *finally* starting to get more with my current project. It's a doozy ☺️]...) Sooo happy it arrived in my lifetime 💫

Thanks! Like all creatives, the Serial Killer book has a gazillion influences... Some obvious, (like 1984, and the "Clockwork Orange" question), and some less obvious, (like personal family history, new questions posed with singularity and modern tech, a life-long obsessions with SKs, societal and spiritual questions, and, of course, philosophical ones 🤪...)

I don’t understand this whole attraction thing because I was literally just standing, fully dressed and minding my own business when a guy approached me only to say he was only interested in sleeping with me. I found that so disrespectful. I’ve been doing so much work on myself including therapy for my abandonment issues. I’ve been through a lot in life, you’d think good relationships would follow me. If all the work and will I’ve put into myself is not enough then I truly am at the end of my rope.
@TashaCaufield10 ай бұрын
That's understandable. If I were you I wouldn't take score too soon on all the work you've done. Continue to stay in the present, focus on appreciating what *is* working for you, and just live your life, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how things unfold. All that is a daily practice, but you got this 👊🏼... Big hugs 💛.
