I manage an RV Park and Motel. Though we are rated 9.5 for customer service our staff rarely if ever receive any gratuities in Canada. We will answer the phone and video doorbell all hours of the night before open and past close. Accommodate, bring extra towels, pillows, perform maintenance, give recommendations for food, bring campers fire pits and wait on them 24-7 over a minimum of 24 hours. Meanwhile at restaurants I am told a mandatory 15% tip is cheap for someone who sits us, asks how our food was in the middle of conversations, and always having to wait for the bill. Length of service 30mins to 1hr 30 mins. It makes no sense.

I grew up in Lewisburg in the 1970’s attended Greenbrier East High School. I purchased my first house here , raised cattle and sheep on one of our many farms and buried my stepfather John Dawkins in Lewisburg. It was a w place to live, grow up , and have my first love. The town has changed so much now as I have been gone 32 years but I still think about it every day. I am sure fate will take me back one day if only for a vacation home. Lewisburg is a great place to visit and to live.😂

Where cheapest place to park?
@ErikthetravelguyАй бұрын
Looks like 11.95 is the best price for parking that is reasonably close to the airport. Another company offer $5.95 a day but in the KZfaq video I watched, it didn't disclose where the parking is located.

Housekeeping is indeed very hard work, I worked at laundry service at an hotel and I always went to pick up dirty clothes from the housekeeping maids. Their job is incredibly difficult and they get alot of back, shoulder, arm and leg pain, it is absolutely charitable to tip them at least 10 euros or more.

My ancestors were in South Carolina in the mid 1800's before moving to southeast Alabama when AL amd MS opened up for settlers. They came down by wagon, went down to north Florida where my great grandfather was born then went back up into AL. They were historically from Switzerland, England and France and were great farmers. There used to be a song about their planting prowess in AL, but I never got to learn it. I know my grandfather was a great farmer. This will be interesting.

You tend to engage in painfully long conversations rather than telling about city attractions. I set the play speed at 2x to scroll through the 5 minute talk with the chef at a restaurant only to land at the next long and painful conversation. That was NOT about city attractions.
