@@videotampa I actually have 2 Autistic kids, my oldest son and daughter are both autistic. Short answer is I don’t have the money for a drum set. I’d love for them to have a drum set and a guitar to learn how to play but just don’t have the funds for either.

You must be new to this game. Meanwhile touring musicians, session drummers and home players have been using this for years with ZERO issues. The fact you searched and replied to a cleaning cymbals video means you were looking how to do it yourself because you didn't know how. Good grief, go back to your car. These are cymbals, not paint.

@@kommi1974 Cymbals are finely tuned musical instruments. Skilled artisans spend a lot of time and use their skills to produce something that sounds great. By using abrasives to remove grime and dirt when soap and water should do, you are removing metal. If you also use the abrasive in a random manner it also erodes the fine lathed lines that produce the frequencies of the cymbal sound. I'd suggest most touring and pro drummers are already using brand new blemish free cymbals, that really only require a wipe down after each use. Far from being new to this game, I was cleaning cymbals in the 1960s, and have been ever since, and one thing I'd never suggest is Bar Keeper's Friend. It's no different to Cim or Vim which is another abrasive cleaner sold around the globe. As a drummer, I probably take more care of my cymbals than I do over my car paintwork.The car will last me 10 years at best, the cymbals, a lifetime. If it's showing metal on your cleaning cloth, it's far too harsh.

Hey man thanks for the feedback. No tom arm seems pretty secure for me. It's got that really beefy tightening wing nut on the outside that secures it pretty well. Not sure if you have the same hardware, sometimes they change the design on them. Also as for the cymbal l attachment, I put a little 1/2 length in piece of plastic tubing around the knurled arm so it tightens better. It's the kind of tubing that you see in fish aquariums, half inch diameter I believe. Let me know if this helps out. 🤘🏽

The knife model is a Gerber 'Icon'. They've since been discontinued, but I'm sure you can find old stock or even used ones on eBay.

Cymbals, hi-hat stand, and bass drum pedal do not come with this kit unfortunately.
