I have one too! I wish I could increase her battery. I recently took it apart and saw that it only has one battery cell. Sad

Theoretically it should be possible to increase battery capacity simply by adding one or two cells in Parallel with the existing one. But it's highly recommended to use the exact same model as the original and also make sure it's genuine as well, not fake brand cell. It requires a bit of soldering and DIY but I think it's possible.

It's the first step into actually opening the speaker if there are some issues with it. Or to simply watch the tiny driver and passive radiator move :)

That isnt low frequency mode, that is debug mode to diagnose the speaker and it can cause damages to the speaker

It can indeed cause damage if not done with caution, I mentioned this in a comment bellow which I now pinned! I just say low frequency mode simply because that's how this mode is known in the community.

Hi, I have 2 jbl flip 5 speakers that I use in stereo mode. I want to sell them and upgrade to a single portable one with even more bass. Would you recommend it or should I keep them? The thing is IDK if theres something better cause I tried the charge 5 and I honestly think my flip's 5 sound better together than a single one. The xtreme might be good but its price is too expensive and if it sounds the same as my speakers it would be a waste. Does anybody know what should I do? Should I bought a xtreme or keep my speakers?

I agree that getting a Charge instead wouldn't really be an upgrade. If size isn't that important then see if you can find a Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 or 8, I have the 7 and it's bass is really impressive and has stereo tweeters too. I've also heard good things about the new Go Play 3 but that might be too expensive. And look for Harman Kardon Citation 200 if you can still find one at a reduced price, that's also a compact bass beast.

of course it does.. use headphones and hear it yourself. for this to work your speaker has to be in LFM, play a bass boosted song and cover one passive radiator, you'll hear the difference in the low frequencies

How did you format the drive it to get those speeds ? Was it ExFat, or NTFS ! Did you try with different block sizes , do you know HOW to used DiskPart ?

Just checked, I get same speeds with both NTFS or exFAT which is 277 read and 35 write but on my main PC I get 254 read which is a bit weird. On both I use USBC connection directly, without an adapter. Also, not sure why in this video I got 304, maybe the heat tests I've made after this affected the drive a bit. What speeds do you get?

To activate the LFM Mode (its real expect charge 5 Flip 6) first press the Bluetooth button and minus ➖ button the same time for few seconds and this ring will pop up it actually activates LFM Mode more bass hope this helps!

Bro can the ssd from the Xbox series x get too hot? Because the ssd is Covered under a Metal shild and i thing there will be too much heat inside so that the ssd is thermal throttling

I just watched a short Xbox teardown and looks like the metal shield that covers the SSD has a blob of thermal conductive putty which makes connection to the large aluminium frame that goes on top. So it looks like the SSD is already cooled by this, I wouldn't worry about thermal throttling.

Theres no such thing as Low frequency mode You're debug mode This is called "DEBUG MODE" having It will Damage you're JBL Debug mode removes all of the protection and LFM is not the same thing

thanks for the review + the description, i wasn't sure if this was in a PC with good airflow but thanks to the description it's exactly the environment i was looking for my new mini pc has no ventilation and with the nvme touching 80 degrees i was looking for a solution - was considering the snowman as well but had doubts about size 10 degrees cooler would be perfect, hopefully it doesn't have a problem with heat soak and maintains the nvme cool

Hey, If you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to remove the mesh paneling in the Front? I am scared im gonna Break something If I just go for it. Thank you :)

No worries nothing will break if you go slowly. It's meant to be removable, it's not glued. Just use a guitar pick or something similar made of strong plastic to go around between the mesh and the speaker. First you can try to pry it with a knife at the bottom in case you slightly nick the speaker. When there's enough space to place the guitar pick you just go around it. Then you can try with something thicker and stronger to pull the cover off. Steady pull, if will come off. Let me know if you managed.

I tried to "unscrew" the little rubber bolts that were holding the mesh but nothing seemed to work. I really want to have a look inside to check if something is broken.
