Love the difference between Marine tactics vs Swat tactics, Marines seem to ignore ROE more than swat would. Then again military ROE and Police ROE might differ all together for all I know.

In the military we seek to kill the enemy at all cost unless we need one alive to interrogate for Intel. Police tend to be more careful due to operating in a area where civilians can look like a bad guy. That tactics are not much different it's just the that military normally fight in hostile environments away from home and enemy numberS could be much higher therefore speed and aggressiveness is higher with military some times. . Police only engage in smaller areas where there are say 5 bad guys at most. Police will still shoot to kill the same military when required to do so. Overall tactics and trigger discipline will be the same it's just that the scenarios both units operate in are so different and therefore sometimes the outcome.
