Amazing scenery. Thanks for sharing mate, I don't get to see much more than my room, bus interior and dusty office. Footage like this is really peaceful. It makes my life a bit less sad.

Thanks the great video mate. I hope you're having a top weekend. Your content makes me want to take the car covers off my little hot hatch and actually drive somewhere.

My son has this disease and is getting IVIG currently. He gets discouraged because he feels he is not getting improvements quickly enough. Are you still getting IVIG and are you still improving?

Yes. Hang in there. Takes a long time.

Thanks for sharing your CIDP story. I was diagnosed in December 2020 aged 52, I had extreme pain in my toes & was a bit wonky on my feet playing golf. Neurologist straight away said CIDP. One day later I was having IVIG at Canberra Hospital. I’ve had it monthly until recently-now every 3 weeks as my balance is terrible & tingling & weakness comes & goes in my hands. My voice has gone husky also & sometimes I get numb lips & tongue. You’ve had a pretty rough trot old mate but you still have a smile on your dial. Cheers mate, Andy

Thanks for viewing. I did CIDP video's to explain what it's like to have a rare condition perhaps it can help others. I still have not meet anyone else with CIDP coming up to four years. I was in Canberra last April. I liked the city. I attended the ANZAC dawn service. Hope IVIG goes well for you and stay mobile. Look forward not backwards. Enjoy the simple things in life we took for granted before CIDP. Let me know how you progress. Thanks.

Appreciate the video, I’m a year and half in with CIDP. Very devastating disease, I can’t even talk with anyone about it because no one even knows what it is. I take IVIG every few weeks and it works pretty good but without it I am completely disabled
@traveldriven_Australia2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jamie. Yes CIDP is not good. However, most should show improvement over time. In my case i have not had any relapse in over three years. I am mindful it could occur tomorrow even with IVIG.. No one knows. If very lucky maybe never. I can now after three years live ok with CIDP. First two years were very hard. I too found no one knows what it is. Perhaps mention some symptoms are akin to MS. Most people have heard of MS. I still haven't meet anyone with CIDP. Please take time to look at my CIDP playlist of how I am affected. If you want the nitty gritty of my experience go to my website traveldriven.net under the heading CIDP and ME. I know it will help. Stay positive. IVIG is a very good first line treatment. Thanks.
