Nice Video... Have you experienced any mechanical failures with the Hohem? The motors don't lock either right? It seems that there are a lot of bad reviews on this Gimbal. Is it worth upgrading to the MT2? I;ve also been reading the the DJI has terrible active tracking. Also can you use a GoPro 12 with any of these? Been trying to decide between the DJI, Hohem, and Insta 360 Flow. Last question, can you use bany of these with the blackmagic app? Thoughts?

I don't have this model of samsung, but I received a videofile filmed with it. Mediainfo showed that it used VP9 as a video-codec. Can you confirm that by showing the settings of this smartphone? In your video, I only saw H.264 being mentioned on the advanced settings screen.

But think of it this way, some users grew up with rotary phones. They likely have no clue wtf you're talking about.

I broke the phone clamp while adjusting the position at 02:20 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ such a useless gimbal. Never even worked once.

Anybody wondering why this footage has a strange wobbling look. These lenses need to be used with a camera app designed for this lens. The stock photo app’s sharpening and enhancement algorithms get confused with the squeezed format. That said the clarity of the lens look really good.

How I wish it was actually any good. Sadly you need to keep the Electronic Image stabilization for the video to look decent because companies are cutting corners and doing terrible gimbals. Im really disappointed and even more disappointed in the fact that youtubers dont mention this. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m61prLV1qM7Xh4E.html This is not acceptable. I shouldnt have to crop my videos with EIS for your gimbals to be usable.

@@smartphonefilmmakingpro Ive tried google pixel, Samsung A52, Samsung S23, Iphone 13 Pro Max. Its all the same. You must activate the Image stabilization to get a decent result. Otherwise you wont get any usable video. Tried with the case, with out the case, microadjusted as much as I could. But nothing. Its not just the Smooth 5, its all the new ones as well. Its absurd how they expect us to use EIS to get somewhat stable video, by sacrificing part of the resolution, when we are paying them almost $200 Dolars for that exact purpuse.... It doesnt even mantain the horizon sraight. And some phones that have good, but not amazing EIS, you can still see some wobles. IT JUST DOESNT MAKE SENSE Im really anoyed and even more anoyed at the fact that you can barely see anyone talk about it. All you see is youtubers say how amazing the stabilization is.... BUT ITS NOOOOOT XD Its not good at all...

@@smartphonefilmmakingpro Ive tried many and Ive seen people use other phones. Its with in the gimbals weight limit parameters. Its simply does not give any usable video unless you activate the EIS and get a that crop. Its not really acceptable, considering we are paying almost $200 for something that doesnt do its job right. Its like buying a bike that is jumpy even on smooth ground because our legs can even out the bumps and maintain the body leveled, but you can never really sit on it. It just makes no sense.

I've been trying to find a gimbal and case/cage that work together for my OnePlus 10 Pro. I bought the BeastGrip 1.55 anamorphic lens and a BeastGrip Pro to mount it with. But that setup is too heavy for my DJI OSMO 6, and it also interferes with the gimbal's movement. I would like to use this rig to make short films for my acting workshop. With the name "iSteady" I question whether the Hohem MT2 is meant only for iPhones or can it be used with my Android OnePlus 10 Pro?
