Next time you pick up a design magazine or go on Pinterest notice how many textures are in the room and notice how designers like to put opposites together. It’s the secret sauce to decorating.

Not gonna lie I hate all of the examples, preferably I'd rather install a sink with drawers but if I had that kind of bare sink it looks better without the cover to me. Except for a few little bathroom rags and of course towels textiles don't belong in the bathroom in my mind.

Thanks for this video it really helped, with my negative thoughts on my new upcoming place. Wall to wall carpet! I currently have hardwood floors, and I agree this is always something you’re not going to like in everyplace. The new place has a swimming pool and central air. I will be renting so I can’t change the carpet, but I can layer thank you for the great tips!
