Ali AkbarKhan is on my music which I respect . Takes me in my heart. Also in my heart it is fine as long as I am quite clear who turned me on to him also has seduced many others this way without any true love. I sense in his arrogance he cannot feel love x

Thank you for posting. The days of getting a record album with many songs on it is over. Now we just usually have the singles posted, but this is one great "album"... All songs celestial. Tabla rocks, sarod sings sweetly, and the strings & other instruments decorate the whole piece. Lovely lovely lovely.

One of the best Indian albums I have ever listened to. This is the one I met Ali Akbar Khan, and never found a similar album among his recordings. Too bad it is not available on Spotify. Thanks for sharing by the way!

This piece is in it's own category. It reminds me in particular of a love relationship I had many years ago. We would listen to this together, it is very evocative and indicative of the connection we had; very profound with a slightly melancholic quality. I cannot listen to this too often as it reminds me of this one person and the time we shared together. Thank you for sharing this

I have been listening to your music from a very early age and now I am almost 55 and your music still stirs my soul the same way it did then. This is certainly true of a dedicated musician. I was forced to learn and practice music from age 3½.....still I may say that God may be pleased with the simplest music if it is filled with devotion and love. And conversely, no matter how expert in execution of music one is, if there is no love, it is useless. I think Ali Akbar Khan sahib was born with both devotion and skill, being in a musical family, yet out of his humility he is teaching how to develop and progress. 🙏🏻🎼🎵🔊🎵🎼 Hare Krsna
