They aren’t best friends. Best friends make an effort to see each other when in the same town. Jamie was in LA for 3 months with his wife and kids and they never saw each other. She lives in LA. Even at 2 events at the same time, didn’t speak. There would’ve been photos, she’s a paparazzi magnet. They’ve seen each other twice in the last 5 1/2 years when they randomly bumped into each other at a film festival, looking awkward. Even back in November 2018, Jamie walked into a restaurant where she was, said he saw her, walked out without even going to say hi. That’s not best friends. The movies and promotions are over, the “relationship” he had to maintain with her for the sake of the movies is no longer necessary.

You do know the meaning of chemistry between actors, don’t you? Here’s a definition of it: “What is Chemistry? In its most basic sense, chemistry is how two characters interact with each other. It's an energetic exchange between two people in a relationship, whether that relationship is romantic or not. On the surface, chemistry might look like: Dialogue that flows well (teasing, witty repartee, etc.)” It’s the energetic exchange. Jamie has had great chemistry with both male and female costars. Doesn’t mean he fell in love with them. Doesn’t say they stay friends forever. Like I said 5 months ago friends make an effort to see each other. They don’t. He doesn’t. He even admitted he “saw” her once after Telluride, which could only have been when he was in LA. He made no mention he even spoke to her. Leave his and Millie’s children out of your garbage. I don’t care that you don’t have butterflies with your wife. Your problem. Jamie says he loves his wife more now than when he met her. Jamie never looked at his ex costar with anything but respect.
