I got that call for real, in the 9th grade. Today is my youngest son’s 25th birthday. His older brother, who was born when I had just turned 17, is 34. Imagine being the actually pregnant girl in that classroom. The one who hasn’t told anybody yet because she’s so scared… I’m a guy, so I just dropped out, got a job and raised a family, but still…

You can see his complete embarrassment as it sinks in what the call is about. You have to wonder if this was now, he'd be up before a disciplinary for making one of his students take a call like that on speakerphone. (OF COURSE I know it was a joke, but sadly we seem to have lost that in the last ten years!)
