I was kinda over the horizon series after playing fh4 because it just wasn’t as fun as fh3 was I don’t know what it was about that game but to me it was perfect but I read all the improvements made for 5 and I figured I’d give it another go and I’m very glad I did

Only problem is the shifting sounds. They could never get it right and why do we not have a realistic automatic system yet? It’s so easy to implement and we should have one by now in car games.

Credit where credit is due, as a veteran player of both, they got good sounds. I admit, H4 may not be as good as H5, but I’ll cut them a bit of slack since it was 2018 and they probably didn’t have a lot of budget to record individual sounds per car. H5’s sounds are hella realistic but H4’s give me some nostalgia whenever I log onto it.

I played a lot of forza motorsport and horizon...but I felt that something was not right with the engine sounds...well I bought The Crew Motorfest and said "damm so forza make the engine sounds to garbage and copy and paste"

I’m more than sure that the bad engine sounds in the 4th Forza were done on purpose, so that later in the 5th they could present it as INNOVATION, JOHNNY!

Crew sounds more robotic and unnatural, more arcade like the game itself. For those who like it - try FH4, it has more likely the same weird sounds. This video shows that Forza far beyond now, every car sounds unique and realistic. In TCM my ears get tired because of the squeaky noise that some cars engines produce.

FH4 lo normal desde la cámara exterior a lo que uno estaría acostumbrado a escuchar desde esa perspectiva. FH5 el sonido es más profundo como si estuviera la cámara en el interior del vehículo. Es más intenso, me agrada.

the best upgrades were the dodge vipers. in fh4, they sounded like a long continuous fart. in fh5, they actually sounded decent and not like complete garbage.
