There's a very interesting 'making of' article about this game in issue 208 of _Retro Gamer_ magazine. It brought back many happy memories. Although I'm a big Amstrad CPC fan, my first computer was a ZX Spectrum and I loved playing this game on it when I was very young. Being able to add your own drivers was a nice touch. Oh, how annoying it was when one of my drivers was on the verge of winning the championship and he retired in the final race!

I remember this spent many many hours, days even playing a 3 player seasons, Ferrari where the top dogs then. We had a rule that we had to have one novice driver per team. Oh and remember the pit changes especially when you hadn't upgraded your crew lol. If my brother wasn't paying attention we'd do a pit stop for him and give him slicks in rain.

Grande máquina. Tenho uma rf900r vermelha há pouco mais de 2 anos anda quase diariamente e com alguns passeios mais longos e viagens feitos. Foi o melhor que fiz, comprar esta moto. Fiável, económica, barata de manter, motor à prova de bala, excelente condução. Esta não a vendo. Excelente moto que você tem companheiro, excelente vídeo. Abraço.

Hi, I'm Peter Wheelhouse, the co-author of Formula 1. Unfortunately, George Munday, my co-author is no longer with us but I am sure that he would have appreciated the kind comments about our Spectrum game. I have decided to try to reprise what we did in the 1980s & rewrite Formula 1 to run on the web. The web address is www.petesretro.org.uk. The current version is very much a first cut and I would welcome feedback on what improvements I should prioritise. Plans include multi-players, multiple levels, different racing vehicles, modules for qualification, practice pit-stops, user activated race start but I will try to include your suggestions. You will need to register with a valid email address as your username and the greeting / handle by which you wish to be known to the system. Once you have registered and set up your password, you will be able to set up a series / season of racing, select team, & drivers and then run the races in the series. Great game! The best bit was if you held down g during the race then a gambling option came up before each race so you could bet!

TeamRLine It's really grat to make the a video, but it's aslo dangerous because in a case of a crash the camera cam damage your face. But in any case you made it cool, well done!

awww how sad :( I am a dedicated explorer myself...never had this happen to me though! With the new "Powerplay" update coming up people will be able to exchange fuel with eachother, and also add the all new fueltank modules to 1 of your internal compartments being able to also increase your fueltank size, so that this wont have to happen again! :)

i just went for a quick sound test as stated.. but on a damp crowded road, what sort of 'ride' would you expect?? was late on the clutch to speed up engine heat. now show me how you ride your tricycle ;)

top d+ o video, poderias fazer até um motovlog, tenho uma RF 900 tb anda muito, só q a minha ta me dando problema de carburação (rotação demora a baixar) e fui ver o óleo antes de andar (rodei 2.2k km) e fui ver o óleo agora e deve ter baixado 1 litro ou quase isso pq tive q inclinar ela pra ver... mas fora isso a moto é sensacional

xiii está a queimar oleo então? espero que não amigo... :( dá notícias. A minha Suzete está a precisar de afinação e talvez algo mais para vencer alguma inércia pelas 4000rpm. é típica do modelo mas está exagerado, ela dispara até aos 140 arrasta até aos 160 e depois dispara outra vez até... hmm n posso dizer :)

rsrs, a minha n qeima óleo e nem vaza pois nnunca deixou poças de óleo e não sai nem cheiro e nem fumaça pelo escapamento, até achei estranho, e ela está bem afinada pois não tem buraco na aceleração porém o giro dela se vier a 4 mil rpms constante e soltar o punho apenas, o giro demora a baixar e não são os cabos de acelerador...

pois é essa parte n sei dizer pois n sei mexer na RF ainda rsrs, não sei se é o mesmo caso seu pois no caso quando vc vem e simplesmente solta o punho a rotação demora um pouco para baixar, e quando vc acelera e solta rapido ela desacelera normal
