🤔🤔i would go with dual makaras. the VS is good but remember there is never too much bass... of course u got to have the logictics. cash is not the only problem, trasportation, how to connect, how to powered them, speaker location.

@@jack3400 the VS21s hit harder, the kick is more defined, full of sharpness. The Makaras are deeper so its more like a thunder than a sharp kick. it just depends what your end goal is (save money, save space, etc)

I think what you mean is that you'll be able to couple the horns so that they are in alignment by inverting a second pair of DV 12s on top of your first pair. But, you won't get any of the benefits of a line array, because two speakers does not an array make. It's just not long enough series of drivers to get any of the effects that line arrays create. Very cool speakers though. Good to know about the 120° horizontal throw.

Get a plane ticket to Austin Texas. I have one at the Voodoo room on 6th street for the weekend. I brought 2 but getting one up 2 flights of stairs made me second guess taking the other up. I called the owner yesterday to ask how Sunday was and he said ONE was a lot of Bass. I will leave it there for this coming Friday and Saturday. Yes its ideal for that. If you need to go below 25 you can pair it with ZV28s. The Double 21" Makara also goes down to 23hz so that may also be an option for you.

The AT312 is a 3 way coaxial and its extremely clear and smooth. However, it was design more for short to mid distance. So its a fantastic box but if you are doing very large shows you will need the AT212 to get louder and have a longer reach because of the horn
