Its not a joke. Indoctrination is the real deal. I've audited many curriculums. But, this was funny.

I was a starting player and had some favor here and there because me not playing wasn't an option. All it did was give me a sense of entitlement. I respect a teacher standing on business.

I used to have a teacher that threatened to call my house for fun... he would call everyday n like clockwork i would get my ass beat everyday, because the teacher is always right. "Why would they lie?"

The worst part of being a young, pretty, with it, talented teacher was being SHUT TF DOWN at a team meeting by a counter part of 70+ telling me to stop it sweetie. Definitely humbled. Relationship with that teacher- no. Not at all. Did not go to retirement party.

I taught Credit Recovery. My students were 10th, 11th and 12th graders who didn't have enough credits to graduate on time. Often my students had behavioral problems and needed a lot of help. I had the feeling that other teachers thought I had an easy job or that because I had At Risk students there was something wrong with me. That school was negative and had many cliques.

This was 100% true for my 8th grade year 😂 We finished state tests and everyone would go wild in class and teachers would trll everyone everything was for a grade. Theyd always tell me the truth tho because i was the type to do the work even if it wasnt for a grade just for the sake of not getting bored 😅

I hope that teacher realizes forever. How rude teachers can be to students. Flat out ignoring someone is incredibly rude, even if you're doing it to a child that you aren't required to respect

The crab analogy is dishearteningly true. I experienced it this year and it pretty much broke me. Especially the backstabbing and cruelty. Similar to middle school but from people who should know better.

I was a para for 2 years in a Sped Separate class and never really received good advice, the classroom teacher would tell me to do something then turn around and do the exact opposite with the same student. But my first year, I was battling that 3 teacher classroom by myself and almost had a stroke, the AP’s advice was “don’t let the kids stress you out” I was 21

I made the mistake of asking a co-worker "hey where should I put my reading corner?" As this was a new room and I was new to the school. She then proceeded to come in, try and change the entire layout, give me teaching advice, behaviour management advice and pretty much tell me how to do my job. I've been teaching 9 years this year. She hasn't finished her degree. She found this out later when we were in a team meeting that I wasn't a new teacher like she thought and hasn't given me advice since

Really bad comparison. A doctors first priority is to make as much money as they can off your illness. Ive had dentist lie and try and scam me and they even fucked up my root canal making me fully loose a tooth because they missed one of the roots

In high school there was a boy who constantly wore shirts of naked women (anime style) and none of the teachers would say anything. But I would get sent home if I wore flips flops to school because it was a ‘safety hazard’….if I ever didn’t want to do school that day I just wore flip flops to school then walk home after first period. 🫣
