You left out the part where North America was so far ahead in watchmaking that the Swiss were counterfeiting them. They even tried hiding the “Swiss” logo because many their watches were bad quality. Eventually the Swiss realized they had to improve quickly and now they’re the best

Just found your page. I'll be checking out your books aswell. I've been a hobbyist watchmaker for about 2 years now, I've serviced and fixed watches of many different makes and complexities in jin my short two years. The drive I have on learning watchmaking has led me to work on some very interesting watches. I hope to learn more and grow as a watchmaker.

What a pathetic review for such an iconic piece. No one should bring their vintage Rolex, Tudor or other vintage to this guy. He's clearly is not a vintage fan and doesn't appreciate the iconic heritage this Tudor 7016 brings which is basically a Rolex 5513 minus the movement and the wording on the dial. That so called corrosion on the hands along with that caramel lume is what vintage collectors call patina and is highly sought after. There are plenty of other watchmakers like Rolliworks and others that service vintage Rolex and Tudor with passion.

@@AnthonyfromNoBSWatchmaker I won't lie I can be a real prick all pun intended. There are ton's of vintage Rolex and Tudor collectors that will be needing service so bring the enthusiasm. A man with priorities so far out of whack doesn't deserve such a fine watch - Ferris Bueller🤣.
