Very nice but if you're ok with a possibly mismatched stock you could pay 650 for a rack grade then around 300 for a new criterion barrel. You'd basically have an expert grade for less than $1100

If the receiver or trigger mechanism is bad, that could cost extra. Plus if the wood is rotting or if the aperture has to much pitting it might have to be replaced

issue aint the cost of the barrel, its the cost of installation. the tools to install it yourself is more than just buying the expert and having it done for ya.

How would you describe this trigger? Garand thumb says a stock AUG trigger is garbage. I think Garand Thumb is just really spoiled as the default is serviceable. That said I have purchased this Arid trigger. So... how is it?

I can't comment for him, or on the Arid trigger. I myself have the older Neu-Trigger mod (which does nothing more than reduce friction on the sear), and it makes the trigger good. My friend has the Ratworx 2020 sear, and it is even crisper, with possibly too little takeup. Both are fantastic upgrades. What does the Arid do differently? It's hard to find any info on it.

I have this trigger and it makes it feel similar to a mil spec AR, linkage adjustment can change the amount of take up before the wall

Muy buen video desde la cabina, aunque teniendo tanta pista tuviste que acelerar y desacelerar varias veces pues no traias buen angulo de planeo me imagino debido al viento cruzado, tampoco te dejo desacelerar hasta no tocar tierra? saludos y felices vuelos.
